I really liked it! It's very well made and put together. Normally match 3 games aren't my thing, and I'm not really too familiar with Hololive, but you guys nailed the gameplay, the art, and the sound. Congrats on your placement! I was only able to play up to about Hakos Baelz, but I really liked the items mechanics, and the dialogue sound effect that played! Overall, a very enjoyable experience!
"Level Cleared! with no items! am i good or what?"
Seeing a familar Dec from the last jam I was lookign forward to this one. I only played a part of it so far but i enjoyed what i did so far. The art is great and the mechanics are nice. The dialouge is also pretty cute. All in all i enjoyed my time and had fun playing Holo bejeweled. Nice game! i can definitly see myself playing more of it
Amazing game! I'm bad at the puzzle so unfortunately, I can't progress much. But the quality make it feels like a completed game!
Also it's made by Moka so there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Probably the best art I've seen yet and there is SO MUCH of it! Amazing portraits, cg's, awesome ui and the icons for the matching board! So much flare in the sound effects and animations too! Music!!! I love the Ollie level bgm especially! Everything just flows so smoothly! Incredible work all around!
Gameplay is obviously polished to infinity and made to be so fun! Very forgiving difficulty curve which allows the player to set their own pace and I love the little bonus winning screen for beating a level without using items!
Fantastic dialogues. Very touching story that felt really tight as you travel from one level to the next! All the references and funny banter! The writing makes these characters come to life for real. Very high level! I think Bae and Shiori dialogues are my favorite. But the flogger line from Kaela man that took me out haha I almost forgot that was a real thing she said before.
And that final boss battle! What an ending! Would be very surprised if Kronii herself does not play this at some point in the future. Incredible!
This is magnificent. The art is so beautiful and amazing. All of the holomems' portraits and expressions... so pretty! The music is great too! I think I heard some Gigi noises too in the Gigi levels, but I couldn't tell if I was hallucinating or not because most of what I could hear from the game audio was the bgm; if I wasn't hallucinating, those were great :') (perhaps some settings to adjust audio levels would be nice?)
But the gameplay? *chef's kiss* I haven't played a match 3 where the goal was to clear the spots, rather than to just accumulate points so I had a lot of fun! So many levels and a bunch of different mechanics for each holomem... amazing! And I really like the little touches when beating the levels such as when you beat em without using any items. The game feels really good to play! Simply wonderful.
Fun take on the match 3 concept. My favourite game so far!
Wow, this game really blew me away!
Everything from the gameplay, to the writing, to the art, to the music, was all so high quality and made with so much passion!
It would be awesome to have a gallery to view all the wonderful art and listen to the OST, but that is far from dragging this down in anyway.
Really gonna be thinking about this game for a while, massive thanks to the team for putting it together, and fantastic work!
Wow! The level of quality, content, and polish is what I'd expect from a full holoindie game, not a two week jam! Insane job on every aspect. I especially love the writing, Ina would be proud of all the "punderful" wordplay. No deadlines!
Amazing job, this game is awesome!
The dialogue and personalities came across really well and I liked the references in the dialogue! The art is incredible, I loved the unique gem designs, and I was really impressed at the sheer number of expressions for each opponent!
The game felt challenging but a good level of difficulty. The unique twist to each game kept it from being repetitive and it was really fun to puzzle out different strategies for each one! I never lost or had to restart, but it came really close and I only survived thanks to some strategic item uses (My favourite was the gem swapper).
Only minor issues was Ollie's rot blocking the gem, and that Raora felt easier than Shiori and Gigi.
I want to try an itemless run in the future, I had so much fun with this game!
I don't think this game is for me. I was already struggling in the tutorial in Ame's level and could barely clear it after multiple attempts. The cutscenes were nice and I wished I could have progressed further into the game.
Never thought I'd be playing candy crush. This is incredibly polished and well themed. I think the character/round number and level name should be more prominent or visible as I didn't notice it until I was searching around trying to figure out how many rounds there were. Maybe it should be in a container and have a color that's has more contrast against the background. The other thing was Ollie's ability blocks the view, so it was hard to tell what the piece underneath was. That's really the only things I noticed besides other things people have commented on already. Well done!
Let's say it this way: I'm mad I played this game for free.
I've tried and managed to do a itemless run and it is brutal, but very satisfying! Amazing game, insane amount of polish, beautiful artworks, amazing writing and dialog, very simple but fun twist on match 3, I hate the locking tiles, but still insanely good game, great job from the team!
I was playing this for 4 whole hours (+1h early playtesting)
oh boy was i addicted xD anyways, beat every single itemless. (kronii lvl 3 and 4 broke me)
Anyways, i did come across a few bugs which i already forwarded to selrev but gonna write them down here anyways:
- if you open the tutorial while in a dialogue after finishing a puzzle, clicking on the next/previous buttons on the tutorial advances the dialog text and eventually leads to the winning screen. this winning screen being there at the same time the tutorial is makes it that you cant interact with either the next/previous buttons of the tutorial nor the next deadline button on the winning screen. (it can be bypassed though by clicking on the X (close button) of the tutorial menu which is still interactable)
- in the shiori level it happened to me that an item "fell" even though its archived which shouldnt happen ofc. but after playing later levels i realized the levels are randomized and it could also be me misremembering things. i really dont know xD
anyways. fun game xD
Extremely polished, well-made, and full of details that are hard not to appreciate! No bugs in sight and the game feels closer to a full-fledged title than a game jam entry. QoL is not neglected at all, which is is a mark of excellence.
Mini's clean expressive art and true-to life dialogue is the icing on the cake here that really captures the talent's energy. Their personalities really shine through to the point you feel like they've played a part in making themselves.
The game totally ate away at my time. . Match 3 has been done many times, but the level quirks make sure that it doesn't get old and adds a new strategic layer, especially if you want to no-tool a level.
The drawings and dialogue are super strong. All the characters had so much personality! Love this!
The Shiori challenges were a LOT more difficult than the others, I had to restart quite a few times on them lol. I think the difficulty was pretty good overall, though!
I had the same font issue in the credits as noted by the other comments.
Very fun match-3 game with some interesting game mechanics!
Where to start? I liked a lot of things in this game. The story was great! The character writing was on point. The different game mechanics tied up to each talent's lore/personality.
I also loved the cute art and the general visual presentation! Very polished UI!
The music was also pretty good. It got a bit repetitive after an hour, though.
I think Gigi's level was the hardest for me to deal with. Most of the others I could beat without using items or maybe at most 1 or 2, including the final level. But Gigi... oh boy, having to refresh the memory in tricky spots required me to use more items than I expected.
I think my only improvement suggestion is to add volume controls.
Great work, team!
Wow, that was really fun, and really well done. Fantastic work, that's amazing for 2 weeks. It even has full, well written tutorials! Absolutely amazing, I love it, and I can not praise it enough.
Suggestions:
More music tracks. Ideally one for each character, but at the very least a special track for the final character. The same tune does get old given enough time.
Add a confirmation button before restarting the game. Or disable it once the level is over. I beat a level, clicked away, and accidentally clicked back directly on the restart button.
Add a tooltip to the restart button, I initially read it as an undo button. (Luckily I never tried it like that, but...)
Bugs:
The credits didn't render the names right, like the font was missing the characters for the musician and song, not sure if that's an issue with my machine, the web build, or what.

I remembered the last Game Jam where I also did a Match 3 (in a hurry and alone because the team I was on broke up and I didn't even know)! The fact that it also has new mechanics impresses me even more! I'll still play all the levels, but so far, the game really has charm! I really liked it!
