I thought this was a really fun idea! Would love to see it expanded with upgrades and stuff. Well executed, good job.

simple idea executed on well - there's a lot of ways you can expand from here to make something really cool

I really like the feel of the game. The arrow bounce off the walls, the enemy and player speeds, and the timing of the waves are all great! I think a sound effect for enemy kill and one for player damage would be really satisfying and a use for the coins would be cool too.  This was simple but very fun! Great entry :)

Fun gameplay and nice art!

I had two bugs: First round didn't start after doing all three tutorial steps (I like your interactive tutorial btw). In the next round, my dash didn't work.

Great design! I like how engaging is mechanic of fight

Great job and congratulations on your fist submission!

I had a lot of fun playing it! Loved the style and the music. A cooldown indicator for dash would be a great improvement.

Thank you for playing! I want to add a lot of feedback and a cooldown indicator is a great idea

This is an excellent game idea! Super fun to play. The music was excellent too!
A few comments:

- It seemed like the dash would go towards the mouse if there was no keyboard input, but go a keyboard direction if the player was moving. I found this a little unintuitive
- I think having a short invincibility cooldown after being hit (or making the hurtboxes/hitboxes slightly smaller) would make it more fun

This is super on theme, and a great demo!

Thanks for playing! invincibility cooldown is such a good idea. Also the dash does have that dual system. Not sure what the right way to go is with the dash

Great job with the arrow! It was fun being able to bounce it off walls and make enemies walk into it. Definitely gave a multi layered structure to the game play. Hope you build upon it some more. Would love to see the gold be used for increasing what the arrow could do in some capacity. Loved the pixel graphic aesthetic the shadows made it look great. Wish there was feedback audio when I took damage and dealt damage. Other than that you did amazing!

Thanks for playing! I definitely didn't get around to everything I wanted to - especially the sound, gold and progression system! Learned so much with this jam though. Thanks again
