Really like the concept! Would love to see this idea get expanded on further with more types of parts!
It’s an interesting idea and has potential. I like the different speed options. It’s great that you can build bots from different parts. Maybe having parts be of different sets, giving bonuses if you have a complete one, could be a fun addition. It would help give you an idea for what build to make.
When building the bots, it would be nice to see what part goes into what slot, even if it makes sense that the head is first and legs are last. Also, when you choose your loot after winning, it would be a good idea to add a way to see the parts you already have. When trying to find parts to build a new bot, I could and up with two heads and no items and/or no legs because I forgot I had a spare one.
Good submission!
Very cool game! I enjoyed learning the different parts and trying out different robot builds. The art is clean and consistent, and the music was nice. I also really really like that you can name your bots!
Took me a second to figure out how to build the robots, and in battle I wasn't 100% sure which team I was at first. Would be cool if you could name your team like you can name your robots!
Overall a very solid submission, and I'm glad I played! :)
Nice work! It took me a second to figure out how to build the robot, some labels on the slots might help accessibility and I was initially confused how to play the game, trying to click everywhere hahah but when I saw the speed options I realised it was a simulation so I hit 10x and watched the action hehe
I really enjoyed the graphics, audio and originality of your game! Congrats!
Awesome game! Had to play at normal speed at times to watch if my last robot can clutch the battle XD
Haha! Glad to hear someone is enjoying the regular speed option!
I had such a good time playing this game! The matches got intense when there were ten robots on the playing field. Were you simulating other teams and their matches in the background to put the strongest teams in front of the player?
We didn't fully simulate the matches themselves, but we DID pick a winner and then simulate the opposing teams getting/picking the loot in the same way that the player does. That way the power levels are always feasible to how the player could be doing at the same bracket placement. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
simple but fun game! i feel like the game could have used a few more extra parts to customize robots even more, and it also gets repetitive a little quick, but i found myself excited every time my bots managed to win against the other team. good game
Glad you enjoyed it! We'd definitely add QUITE a few more parts if we were to put more time into the game. Great to know the formula can work at least!
