How did you implement the Theme?
I used the theme - illusion as way to question the trust of players by making platforms that are not collidable by using the prespective trick. i also added walls with no collisions.

How did you add the Special Object?
I used the special object - BELT , as a conveyor belt.

Conveyor Belts moves the player but in an unexpected direction.

Nice platformer! Felt really polished.

What I loved:
- the main menu's look and music
- the music
- love that the illusion is perspective
- the player animation

What needs improvement: - you can get stuck in the credits screen if accessed in the main menu - the belt implementation is meh

Good game overall! Enjoyed my time playing.

Thanks!

I was super confused when I realized that some of the platforms are actually  in the foreground. And of course I died a couple of times. So you really tricked me - great illusion and great job!

I agree that adding more levels is a great idea, good luck with your next projects!

The background music is dope. I also enjoyed the game fooling and teasing the player and classic platforms respectively.

Overall it's good. But levels are too short. I hope you will consider that and one day, make longer levels / add more levels.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm really happy to hear you liked the music and the platforming.

This was actually my first time making a game! I had to work within a very tight 4-day window to make sure I submitted before some personal commitments, so I focused on making the existing levels feel as polished as possible. I’ll definitely keep your suggestion for longer levels in mind for my next project!

amazing use of visuals to trick the player, and the sound track is a beautiful as well, one of the best games of far, but its kinda short

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words about the visuals and audio.

Since this was my first time ever using a game engine (and my first jam!), I spent a lot of those 4 days just figuring things out. I wish I could have used the full week to make it longer, but I'm really happy with how it turned out given the time I had. Thanks for playing!
