Ah! I did not realize this until reading this comment. I thought I was doing something wrong, and if I just figured out the right strat... lol, ah well!

well. i'm glad i saw this comment before i spent hours trying to beat it. it was certainly not obvious to me haha

Huh really? because I saw the slider bar move for me as my strategy after having max upgrades without the mob upgrade to make it a little easier was to go around in circles and basically blast them with my super slash combined with the spikes at the right timing would kill massive amounts making me alive much longer. I was able to get halfway like this but then died cause if one enemy hits you its game over. But for an expert player it might seem doable?
