Fun ambience! Shooting them in the chest didn't seem to work, so I had to become a headshot specialist! The chill soundtrack between shooting fests were a decent break. The shooting sfx was a tad too loud for a game with no internal settings. Otherwise, solid game that shares the experience of getting used to the act of killing, and the moments of normalcy that a soldier may experience! Solid entry! Thanks for joining us this time!
Thanks for playing my game and pointing out some mistakes i made! From the screenshot you send it seems like somethig went wrong with the resolution, which is wierd, because when i tested it, it was running just fine. I'll find out where the problem is, and i'll see you next time!
I saw this happen with a few games this time, I'm not sure if it's itch side, or just a lot of devs doing the same thing, but it's rather unusual! Happened to us as well, but we've gotten around to fixing it off-jam already. Hope to see you again another time!
the game is fun to play even if it's a bit buggy, maybe adding new features can make the game more interesting
Fun light-gun style game - needs a bit of variety though and it's a bit too easy. There is no real threat from the enemy.
You could possibly have the enemies approaching from the distance using sprite scaling to make them bigger as they got closer.
The reloading noise is fantastic - could listen to that all day on repeat :).
I would have preferred if the crosshairs matched the movement of the mouse exactly.
Nice little game. I like how the sight trail behind your cursor. Maybe the game could use some goal to achieve. For example, achieving as many kills as Simo Häyhä... though that would need a lot of fine tuning to see how difficult or easy it was, etc.
This is a cool part of the war to gamify. I like the work you did on the letters. The gameplay got repetitive very quickly. Maybe instead of moving off screen the soviets move to the center of the screen and shoots at the player. That'd up the stakes some what and add a bit of difficulty. Congrats on finishing.
Side question, im really confused how you managed to get your windows build of the game to 279mb. I work in godot and i've never managed that.
To answer your question, I have no idea. I just exported it and thats it. You think its small or too big?
edit: Had a look at your projects, the reason mine is a bit too big might just be that there is like an hour long wind sound that i downloaded.
ooooow, yeah that'll do it. sound files are a killer. If you wanna get the file size down in future you can just get a smaller clip and set it to loop on the import section.
Thx for the tip, I'll surely be aware of this next time XD
