A roulette gamble for my teeth? I was playing the entire game with this concerned smile on my face the whole time πŸ˜‚ very moody with the background ambience, reminds me of the creepiest dungeons, and the tooth crunch, ew! Good job πŸ˜†

Thank you so much!

fun game found a bug where u can remove more then one tooth when u did need to

I did spot that during some of my playtesting towards the end but just ran out of time to fix it 😫😫

I really love the concept of using teeth as the stakes, it’s really unique and removing teeth is satisfying! Since it's currently pure gambling, I think the gameplay could be even deeper if the player had more agency, like adding special effects to specific teeth upon removal, or something will happen if certain teeth are pulled together. Anyway, there is so much potential here, just need a little bit work, you can make it more fun. Great work so far!

Thank you so much! I had much grander ideas in my initial stages so I do plan on working to expand it in the future. I'm thinking:

- Multiple wheels (that change randomly at times)
- More variety with the segments
- Curses and buffs that will change up the risk factor

Just to name a few things

I like how disturbing it feels.  Good concept, although gameplay wise, its lacking.

Developer

Thank you! Fun fact: The name of the sound effect used when the teeth are removed is "Wet Crunch" 🀒🀒.

I do agree that the gameplay is very basic at the moment, I had much grander plans but I ran out of time to implement them so had to cut back to an MVP. I do plan on working on it some more in the future though

I loved the theme and aesthetics, made me think of inscryption a bit.

I think its not fully used though, I have the same problem as other game of this jam is that i have 0 control or impact on the game.

Roll, maybe win, maybe loose... fun ?

You have a great base concept, maybe i could have gambled my teeth, maybe i can put them back when i win and the goal is to get ALL your teeth back, maybe some teeth are gold teeth and they have extra value, maybe some teeth are magical and have some special effects.

Just anything so i have any kind of impact on the outcome so i get invested in the game, right now, i couldn't care less if i won or lost since i had no impact on that outcame, i feel neither proud or disapointed by my performance, i just click and watch.

Removing teeth was as satifying as it was disturbing.

So with a little bit of changes, i think you could have a pretty fun concept :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

I completely agree with the lack of control and how that impacts how engaged you ultimately end up feeling.

I had planned to include more elements (one of them being earning teeth back and a double-or-nothing option) but ran out time in the end so had to make some cuts to get it ready for the deadline.

Developer

Disturbed is good! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Simple game, simple concept, but quite enjoyable. It applies the theme correctly, to the point where I got annoyed, just like gambling does :D

The only thing I would suggest adding, would be to update the counter, on the top right, to say how many points you still need to get to achieve freedom, instead of having the total points that you need. This because I believe the text can be somewhat confusing

Developer

Thank you for checking it out and for the feedback!

That is a really good idea about the counter!
