Innovation: what an idea, water acts as both a health bar and also affects your surroundings, very good.
execution: While the gameplay was slow, and it had some minor bugs, for a game this big in a 2 week jam, that was very impressive.
Polish: probably the most polished game so far, menu, sound effects, tutorial, world, interactions, 3d models. It's so good.
I was like "WAAAAA" looking at the entire map from the top of some mountain. A very impressive game.
I would've loved to solve puzzles and do parkour in this ever-changing waste.
Overall, a great game and a top performer for the jam, GG
One man studio .. this is great! , loved it, it's polished, has storytelling. you did great, gratz
Such a beautifully polished game! Did you make the art? It looks so good, and the writing was great as well! Thank you for checking out Flesh Facility!
I followed some of the posts on Discord and there I already thought the game had such a beautiful and relaxing aesthetic, happy that this game finally appeared in my queue.
Playing it, it's exactly what I expected, relaxing, visually pleasing, it gives such a good feeling.
I can feel the weight of the character carrying water, that was very pleasant, climbing things gives me a good feeling of wanting to explore, it's all as enjoyable as in the game Cocoon.
I don't know if I'm a big fan of the amount of text, it doesn't hinder my gameplay, but I would like to just sit and relax exploring (maybe solving puzzles). Congratulations on the game, it has a lot of potential, please keep this game going, I would love to play it on the Switch or even with a controller.
Thank ya, kindly! I'm glad those were the vibes you got from the game - they were exactly what I was going for! Most game jams are filled with high-octane games, so I thought it might be nice to dial it down a few notches, tell an interesting story, and let folks explore a unique wasteland. I definitely got a little indulgent with the dialogue, though. Not enough time to edit, sadly, so everything is first-draft length. Thanks for playin'!
Loved this game dude! Really liked the open-world feel and the climbing. I appreciate the amount of effort you put into it!
Was so glad to have this show up in my queue as one of the first games for me to rate. Insanely polished for a jam game, a huge world, great storytelling. I think it'd be nice if the game encouraged you that there was no penalty for sprinting (or if there is it didn't seem very clear and very minor for such an effective speed boost). I made it to the ladder and one of the endings, the "enemies" near the end were an interesting addition too. Aside from some clunkiness to the climbing system/getting stuck on terrain, and getting a bit lost with no directional compass or anything of the sort, no other complaints and those are super minor!
Cheers, amigo! Appreciate all the kind words. Yep, no penalty for sprinting. I made the map quite big and set the sprint speed nice and high because who doesn't love going fast? Haha lots of opportunities for getting stuck in this one, but I tried my best to offset those with quite a few different "unstuck" options. But I never could fully wrangle that climbing mechanic. Ah well, what's a jam without some jank! Thanks for playin'!
Really awesome atmosphere and overall art style. There were a few buggy parts that could be ironed out, especially around climbing, but really cool and ambitious game. The dialogue UI reminded me of Disco Elysium. Great job!
i think you run into a problem with too many text in the start, also its hard to navigate around, but it reminds me of little nightmares, but i think the game is really great loocking, if you work a bit more with lighting it wouls make sooo much for the style, great job!
