A very surreal experience! I liked the atmosphere and environmental storytelling. I also got limbo vibes haha I like the feel of this game. I do think the game was kind of slow for my taste. Not in a lag way but the animations were slow and the character speed was slow. But again that’s my taste. Not sure if this happened to others but I couldn’t get any game sound. Otherwise this is a solid game thanks for submitting it for us to play!

“I’m sorry you can’t hear the music, because the soundtrack and sound effects are really beautiful. Try opening the game’s page with a different browser.”

This is a cool game, it's a bit like limbo and I like it and the music is nice, but it's too slow, I would make it faster, but I liked it this way

The music and idea behind the musicians journey were quite enjoyable.

Constructive Feedback: I would say make the player quicker to move and work the key registration for the piano puzzle. Some keys weren't registering correctly.

Aside from that, thank you for the game!

I BEAT THE GAME

not sure if many people did, but i beat the game!

Here's my constructive criticism:

The artstyle is incoherent, probably because you took assets from many different places

The fade out transitions take a wayyy to long to happen (like 8 seconds)

Telling the player about arrow controls in the start is good

The beggining weird lever tutorial is good

the house is wayyy too big for the little shadow guy and the game forces you to look at lore which is not good

The piano puzzle is (pardon my french) NONSENSE, sometimes keys dont respond, sometimes they do, the wrong buzzer sound is annoying, and i only solved it because i had nothing else to do, if i DID have something to do, i'd have stopped playing

the 3rd segment is another lever puzzle, but there's a reflection of the shadow guy, which was kinda cool

the background makes even less sense in this level and when you get the key instead of a giant portal opening in the door frame or a giant door appearing a smaller door appears which is REALLY funny

the song is kinda weird and doesnt fit with the game

and i dont really get the lore, there's a pianist and shadow man and shadow of past or something i don't know...

You don't NEED to go with the theme "flow" but still it doesn't fit much

Noticed you use Gdevelop for every game of yours, and you don't need to do this if you don't want to, but if you really like game developing (you've been making games for a year!), i'd change to another engine, try GameMaker or Unity or Godot, just try something that makes you need to script (even if it's visual) to make what you want, i know it's harder than Gdevelop but making a working game in one of those is 1000000x more satisfying

Overall its a decent experience

“Thank you for the feedback — definitely constructive. I’m familiar with almost all the game engines (Godot, Unity, Unreal), but the ease of use of GDEVELOP is impressive, as well as what it can do in both 2D and 3D. As you can see from the credits, most of the music and graphics come from Pixabay or were generated with AI, because I’m not able to draw!”

Really enjoyed the main song!
Couldn't quite get into the game though, perhaps the slow pace being my main issue.
I wanted to see the story through but I just couldn't engage with the piano puzzle.
I might try again later when I'm in a different mood.

“Thank you for playing. The piano puzzle is the sequence (flow) of the story mapped onto the keys.”

I like a first scene… The fog, that's nice looks.

Not all about the jam theme, but it's a fun puzzle.
And yes, it would be cool if you expressed your opinion about the advantages and disadvantages of my game, get the hint? :)

Not really about flow in the game, but a very nice puzzle game in itself :)

That is an incredibly smooth walking animation!

Quite a slow paced game, with 'mandatory pondering time' included when looking at the paintings lol

I wish I could have played the piano, though the music in the background was very nice already.

Not really seeing the implementation of the theme here though

But look, the piano really plays! I made some corrections and improvements. I think you haven’t seen the whole game. There are 3 levels!
