idk but art remind me some old disney animations lol
super cool art and animations, love it, My favorite when u mining stone
Thank you! The stone mining animation was a tough one so I'm glad it turned out well!
Incredible art, cool music, interesting concept. That's my favourite game of this jam. I liked the little mouse dude and his animations.
Thank you! I love animating little dudes <3
I'm super impressed by the art and how everything is animated in just a weekend! I think that black and white enhance the creepy nature of that demon character too. I agree with other commenters on the repetitive nature and I wasn't sure if an end goal existed. But I also have to compliment you on building a crafting system in such a short amount of time.
This was such a beautiful and polished game. Hats off to whoever did the art and animation for this jam I was truly impressed! The gameplay seems so cool but it becomes repetitive and uninteresting rather quickly. Some variety would have been interesting but this was a great game to be made in 3 days.
Impressive!
Most of what I would say has been said by other commenters already.
The only thing I'll add is that I missed an overarching goal, a motif, a "fantasy".
For example, I built the Axe and Pickaxe hoping they'd change gameplay in some way, but no.
I waited for difficulty to pick up, perhaps harder items in less time, but no.
One can simply labour and toil mindlessly, without a strategy to "beat the game".
Please take that criticism as a token of my investment, I really liked what is there already.
Very valid feedback, you definitely have a point. The initial idea was definitely to increase difficulty by requesting more complex items and/or more of each item, and the tools were also envisioned to increase collection, but we ran out of time before we could implement a lot of it.
I love the style of the game. Its really fun, especially at first, and I would love this game if it kept getting worked on! I do feel it gets repetitive rather fast, and I didn't ever feel like there was a much of a challenge, but I think its really impressive, even if it wasn't done in 72 hours!
Very fair, I've said it already in another reply, but we didn't have time to fully implement the initial idea, which was that Ee-yor would request more and more items of higher and higher complexity. We really appreciate the feedback, and appreciate you playing the game :)
Perfect game for me
You have a really cohesive style in the game, the sounds, graphics and animations work really well together. The graphics also work really well with the limitation.
The gameplay could be a bit more varied, for example you could have more complicated rhythms in the crafting.
Overall loved it!
Although gameplay gets repetetive really fast, i appreciate the hard work of artists. Style is nice and those animations are top notch! Especially those that plays during the crafting ദ്ദി˙ ᴗ ˙ )
