This is the most complete game I've played so far, and it actually quite enjoyable. The music is quite foreboding and I like how the environment is revealed slowly as you walk around.
Oh cool, an entry where you can actually get the amulet and escape :D The sounds are great, and I nodded in approval when I saw the first dragon. Nicely done!
Love seeing a raylib entry. I think this is a more faithful adaption of rogue, which is good. The goblins were a bit of a pushover for me.
Managed to get down to level 9 and defeated the enemies there, but Rodney's Amulet wasn't there and my adventurer will forever be trapped = P. I really liked the music, the combination of synths along with the very small levels made me feel like I was on a spaceship (Ascii art tends to have that effect) Great job!
A well-crafted clone of Rogue, but it falls short due to overly simplistic dungeon layouts, combat mechanics, and progression systems that barely extend beyond basic level-ups. Additionally, the game is notably easier than expected.
Fun little game :) I like the sound effects too!
It feels a bit unbalanced currently though, the bats do nothing basically, trolls can do good damage, but dragons are just super strong. I basically killed everything up to stage 9 and then just got demolished by 2 dragons D:
