Hey man, thanks for showing us your art. We have decided to go with 2D though and I'm a little worried that having a 3rd person on the team would be a bit too much for to handle. I hope you can find someone to work with though.

I should probably talk a bit about what I'm planning.
So my idea was inspired by and old flash game I used to play. You were like a team manager for a Gladiator troop in ancient Rome. Definitely inspired by Matt's work as well. So you aren't controlling the giantesses directly, but your organizing the support staff. So setting up their training, deciding what equipment to invest in, and taking care of their wounds when they get injured. you watch the kaiju battles but have little direct involvement.

I would also love to set it in a late 19th century Victorian Gothic setting, where giant monsters were terrorizing cities like London or Venice and the player is using Frankenstein like weird science to make people grow and also augment them with giant monster parts like some kind of organic cyberpunk?
This was pretty fun, I liked the twist on having the player return the captured enemies back to the pen. It seems like that is the main goal rather than picking up all the pellets? Very cool take on the theme.
Someone commented that there was a shop, is that the part where there are some items you can pick up that have upgrades? I didn't realize I was paying for them.
I was lost in the maze for a long time. to the point where I was just about to give up, and then I saw the candy house in the distance. I'm wondering if the map is procedural generated or just huge. The map in the corner did help. I noticed the bred crumbs after defeating the witch, not sure if they were there before but I didn't see the yellow line. I managed to get to the Hollow Chapel before dying. Also about half way through the mouse stopped working so that was weard

I wasn't really sure what to do with this. I managed to finish the level by just running past all the enemies, but I feel like that wasn't the intended way to play. I thought maybe you were supposed to shoot them when they displayed the eye,and I managed to hit one of them once... I think? But then the eye never showed up again.
Also, it seemed like no matter how close or far away the enemies were they could always hit you if they had line of site. I died a whole bunch of times to that first guy in that first room, before I just decided to book it
So, this didn't seem to work very well in my browser. The mouse look was very unresponsive and the enemies kept phasing through the walls. The enemy designs were pretty cool though. I liked the eyeballs coming at you. Not sure if the grey walls were meant to be doors but I seemed to be able to move through them without problem.
This was really fun. I wasn't 100% sure if being in the light actually hid you from the dogs, and when they agroed onto me was just became I got too close, or if it was just random.
The artwork combined with the lighting was really on point, and I loved the theme of having to get your racoon babies back
Wow, the aesthetics of this game are really on point, the menus, the art work, all very juicy and well done. Though I have to admit I did get a bit disorientated at times while playing it.
It seemed like I picked up a shotgun but then couldn't figure out how to use it, but eventually I figured out that it just switches automatically until you use up all the bullets.
Would recommend
The music was very on point for the theme, the level was very sparse though. lots of huge spaces with not a lot of points of interest. Still, I died several times and played through until the end. Some of the sprites for the enemies were very nice also. I particularly liked the big guy and how he goes down.
It took me a while to figure out that I actually already had all the guns and didn't need to pick up any new ones.
Hey everyone, I decided to post these here for anyone who is interested.
I found this a couple of days ago when I was looking for godot tutorials. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4vjw0qHwNZIQZScBFaON0WGkz-BMyoCh
Also, even though the game is about Wolf3D, your probably better off looking for tutorials around Doom. The enemies/decorations essentially work the same and there are a LOT more tutorials on how to do them. https://youtu.be/q0sLPbyIbQg?si=2tmsTq-zKxGfmw_g
