Good old Godot and Blackjack 😂 really interesting to mix with russian roulette, never thought that drawing the wrong card would cost me my life 😱

Developer

Thank you very much! Once upon a time I was inspired by “Resident Evil 7: Banned Footage” with this lethal card game and made my own version on Python two years ago. Only in 2026 it was realized in Godot Engine.

I think the windows version might have some bugs, either that or I'm just not familiar with the Null card!

Developer (1 edit)

Gosh… I didn’t saw that. I’ll try to fix it if it’s a bug. Thank you for feedback!

Developer

Sorry for late question, did you face it after manual or during the game process?

It seems we can press the draw pile before the game starts and that results in null cards

Developer

Well, the problem is defined. I tried to found Null card problem, but I didn’t. Thanks for your report!

It would have been nice to have feedback for when its our turn to pick/refuse card, i have no clue so i end up spamming left/right click. It works but not elegant :)

i dont really like the white and black square for the draw pile and gun, you could have extremly easily replace them by card/gun icon at least, same for the opponent, a simple whatever icon would have worked fine :)

and some ambiance music and lighting would help a lot for this kind of backround bar setting :)

Its a nice littel prototype, keep on going :)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

I thought about sound or message feedback for player’s turn, but I forgot to do it. It’s a terror of debug mode habit :’)

I didn’t have time to make some graphics and decided to use squares, but I think it will be resolved in next updates. Music have same story and it’ll be delayed because I’m still learning FL Studio and music making.

Well, I’ll try not to abandon the project. Thank you very much for feedback <3

Fait enough :)

For the music, i think its really cool to make them yourself, like the art.

But you should do that only if its something that you like doing.

If you hate doing music or art, there are tons of free open source asset you can use.

At least for prototypes, game jam, stuff where you need to build quickly.

But if making the music is a great moment for yoou, then of course yes do it :)
