very solid entry, love the minimal gameplay and great visuals, well done!

I was reminded of Getting over it... It really is quiet... similar... I had a lot of fun even though I couldn't find the strength within myself to complete it fully but Its still super cool! Good job on implementing such a cool 3d game in just 2 days!

Really enjoyed the environment of this game, and could easily see it becoming a really good rage game. Great work!

Thank you for playing!

Cool concept

Developer

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Omg...Getting Over It was such a pain when I played it. Now I get to relive it all over again in a different way. The only thing was I had trouble starting the game, I'm not sure why but it would stop loading around the end.

The visuals are great btw, everything works together!

Developer

Thank you for playing. Sorry for reliving your pains to surface.

The underwater effect is amazing.

Extremely impressive visuals and art! I like the concept and the level design, and for me the performance was solid in full screen. But I didn't really get the right click rotation logic. I really wanted to keep playing to see the whole thing, but got too frustrated. I don't mind difficult or even some rage stuff if I screw up, but not understanding the basic controls after trying for several minutes isn't my type of fun. If I don't feel like I can improve with practice then it's not something I'd keep playing for long. As a counter example, Spelunky 1/2 are very difficult and it can be frustrating to die after a lot of good progress, but it mostly felt like my "fault", and indeed with more play I got better at those games until I beat them.

Anyway, great job still, I think if you make the controls more obvious to understand (not necessarily easier) I think this could be a commercial game!

Developer

Thank you for playing. Sorry for the controls. It was easy for me to control it but that doesn't mean it will be for everyone. So I need to do some playtesting before releasing a full version.

I just reopened the game just to see if I could figure it out with fresh eyes, and I did pretty quickly this time. Last time I kept trying to drag the speaker and rotate it  (as though I'm picking it up with the cursor) and the rotation seemed arbitrary, and when I clicked far away I didn't connect the dots. Maybe just me, but might help to have an arrow or line visible showing the connection between the cursor and the speaker. Also I feel like it would be more intuitive if you click where you want to go rather than where the speaker points, especially since you're close to the bottom of the screen (i.e. 180 degrees where it is now). Again maybe just me though!

Didn't finish it but got a lot further then fell all the way. :D Well done!

I'd say this has a solid chance to win, and to become popular. I liked it, but these types of games are just too tedious for me. The precise positioning I need to do with the inconsistent mouse controls I need to do is too much for me.

But I'd bet my kidney that many people will have A LOT of fun with this one. <3

PS: Share this with some of your fav youtubers, I think they would love it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing game. I noted it down, I was hesitating but I will share it, thanks.

Nice gameplay and graphics. It’s got that classic physics-based rage game feel. Wasn't really running on my kinda high-end pc tho.
I actually think that if you polish it and add more content you could release it on steam. It's crazy how it reminded me of 'Getting Over It'.
Edit: I didn't realise the title, that means your game actually has that rage game feel in it.

Developer

Thank you for playing. Yeah, I am planning to release on Steam but I I don't know how am I going to reach the correct community to mention about the game. First I have to figure that out.

Did you just blow into your microphone and use it in the game?

Idk why, but I really wanted to go through the entire game, well done.

Developer(+1)

Yes, I blowed while keeping my mouth closed and my lips were waving, so it makes that noise :D, Thanks for playing!

Legend.

The speaker sounds are very goofy! The game did run poorly on my PC (3FPS fullscreen) and I was forced to play at 18 fps (not fullscreen). I also found it a bit hard to see what was going on due to the large amount of effects. The game did make me frustrated, so you achieved your goal.

I just went back to make a screenshot, I found this blueish line very annoying and it made it hard to see

Thanks for playing, sorry for inconvinience, this is bug you encountered. I have tried experimental WebGPU build inside Unity. I tried it because I was using VFX Graph on GPU. But I think there is something different wrong there. Could you tell me what is your computer specs? You need a little bit beefy computer because of too much going on. Also could you try those demos, how much performance do you get from these?: https://www.keijiro.tokyo/WebGPU-Test/

Submitted

I'm playing on a pretty beefy computer, I played the game with an RTX 4070 laptop gpu, 32GB ram, and AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX. It may also partly be due to my internet because I'm not at home and my internet isnt doing that great. Other games do run fine so I don't think this has that much impact.

Developer

I cant tell anything without inspecting your computer but I believe instead of Nvidia GPU it uses AMD GPU for browser hardware acceleration. I have RTX3060, Ryzen5 3600 and 16GB RAM, worse than your specs. It is really strange that you get 3fps on fullscreen, I get V-Sync 60fps. I don't think internet is a problem but like I said I am not sure, this is experimental graphics at the end. You might ask why am I obsessed with that, cuz I want to push how far can I go with WebGPU. Thanks again for taking your time, and sorry again for inconvinience.

When I get home I can try to play it with my desktop PC, it has worse specs (gtx 1660 ti, intel i5) so I don't expect much. But it's worth a shot.

Very nice game with a perfect interpretation of the theme, but it does indeed causes frustration and broken mice ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing. Hopefully it didnt cost you a monitor :) Cuz I cant pay.
