No, it's meant to kill you no matter what. I had intended for separate endings but didn't have time!

I couldn't seem to get the sword to get any bigger. Wonder if I'm doing something wrong? I got up to 58. Seems like the slimes get crazy fast right before I die. The little slime guys are adorable btw.

Thank you so much! It is so nice to see so many positive reactions. I wonder how I can de-sausageify the battery now. :P

Oh dang I thought I fixed that. If you set your monitor refresh to 60hz it should work fine

Thank you for playing! I definitely will be toning down the difficulty post game jam.

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like it. I am working on a post jam version that tones down the difficulty, since a lot of players are having the same issues.

Thank you! Your words mean a lot. I am glad you enjoyed it

Anything and everything. WASD, arrows, wiggling the mouse.
Charging, skipping text, space bar all work fine.

Is it possible to score more than 2? Great sound design for sure. glug glug splash splash

Fun little game! But with so many single tile blocks, you don't really have to think or play anything in a specific way. Just toss everything in without even rotating, and fill in the gaps with the single blocks.

Thank you so much for playing! The game in total lasts 5 minutes, which in hindsight could have been like 3 and been a bit better.

I enjoyed this! The writing was enjoyable and your art is lovely.

Drawing Aseprite in Aseprite was kind of trippy

Cute! I was sad to leave mama duck behind though. It'd be cool if you could just stack all your animal friends on your back and truly become the GOAT

Could not get a handle on the controls unfortunately! I liked that you can sit down and have tea with the little robo bunny though.

Is the ship supposed to be able to move? I just kept dying in the first second.

Couldn't beat the second level (even after watching your video). Interesting idea! Needs a little refinement

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Just FYI the game has been patched and the level 5 bug is fixed. (I hope)

Thanks so much! I appreciate the feedback.

Thank you so much for playing! I can't unsee the sausage now so thanks for that :)

Thank you for giving it a try! Just so you know, only the orange levels are required to advance the story. You can safely skip 2 and keep going.

Thank you for playing! This is really good feedback.
I had envisioned this as more of a puzzle game, myself, but it turns out designing good puzzles is actually really freaking hard. :P

🤘

Holy crap, this is so good.

Thank you so much for playing :)

I have an an object that takes and holds a charge, but there's a delay built in so I can time things out. So, when the player hops in the charge port at the end of the hall, it charges one of those delayed charges, which is set to charge in 0.7 seconds.. except that the lerp function that counts up to 0.7 was not frame rate dependent (didn't use delta). I set the charge port to discharge really really fast, so, when the framerate is higher than 60, the delay is charged for some number less than 0.7, and so doesn't reach charged state (at which point is was configured to stay on). If the frame rate is 60, it gets charged long enough to go to on state and stay on.

The timing is pretty tight.. I've always had a hard time tuning difficulty for jam games! Something that might help is you can use the moving platforms at the start to get a jump boost if you time it right, and get a little ahead of the track.

Very endearing art style!

Great art, great writing! Wish there was more because it's a pretty fun premise

Love this! Really good interpretation of the theme. Been on a cozy game kick and this definitely fits the bill.

This is SO GOOD! Puzzle design is not easy you you managed to make some really tough ones. This is a super unique and cool take on the Sokoban puzzle.

So it has to do with refresh rates. I have a patch ready but am waiting on a support ticket. If you can set your monitor refresh rate to like 60hz and try again you should be able to get past that part.

Fun idea! Enjoyed the art and the gameplay was pretty engaging. Saved 27 guys

The part where the music changes there should be 3 platforms that pop up like steps right after you spawn in. The game saves your state, so if you reload the page you can continue from level 5. Let me know if that fixes things for you!

Can you share a screenshot of the part you're talking about? Having a hard to figuring out what part of the stage has you stuck. It kind of sounds like a bug.

I can tell you put a lot of work into this! Art is cute and there's a surprising variety of enemies. Pretty unforgiving after level 3 or so.
