I cannot hold to move, that's my biggest issue with the game.
Other than that, the game was pretty good, nice lore.

Like what many others have already pointed out, it cost to use abilities is too much. So there is not much players can do except to run around.
Nice art but gameplay is lacking. Button pressing is very inconsistent. Sometimes you need to wait long to move sometimes less. Writing is nice.
Super cute game, and catchy music! The ending is pretty silly, nice work! Love the art too!
Interesting ideas but definitely could use some retooling. Manually keypressing to keep walking got tedious after a while, as others mentioned. With that said, its a good foundation for what it is, and the opening dialogue is spot on (who let Biboo drive??).
I like the story telling here but I feel like it really is dragged down by the movement and combat combination system
Gathering energy on movement is a fun idea, but the skills cost so much that it requires you to kite the enemies around to be able to do anything, but they're still smart enough to try to cut you off if they can, so you need to plan movement while they still move in real time. It can make it really tough to make it through the levels sometimes. I feel like I only managed to beat the boss fight after cheesing it and moving to generate MP in between dialogues - but it was still really close at the end. And the nullify mechanic at the end feels too punishing to not explain to the player on how to handle it. I only figured out how it worked by coming to the comments to read about it, and still failed the boss fight once with that information.
Interesting concept, but the combat feels like it needs some tweaking if its the direction the project wants to take. Otherwise great work on everything else - the art is nice, the story is interesting an interesting, and the music and SFX were well selected!
The story and overall vibe of the game are quite interesting and cozy.
That said, I’d love to be able to move by holding down the WASD keys instead of clicking, and to have a skip option for dialogue before fights.
I liked the concept! The arts are cute and I like the concept. Must be horrifying, talking casually with someone knowing full well that the person interact closely with time then suddenly their mannerism shifted. Then, again, that ended up never happened! The only prove of that ever happening is her memory. Cool!
The boss fight was reallllyyyy tough. Wish I could skip the dialogue before the fight all together. Feels like I reduced the lifespan of my keyboard by 10 months fighting her.
Overall, fun and challenging game with story on top!
I liked the game's plot! Very silly accident turns into something serious!
Some improvement suggestions:
- It would be nice to be able to skip dialogue sections when retrying battles.
- The Kronii fight is very tough and requires multiple tries to get right. I feel she hits a bit too hard and takes too little damage.
- It also felt a bit unfair that she can nullify the player's slow but the player cannot nulify hers. Eventually I managed to save enough energy to disable her nullify with a slow and immediately use a final stop for the finishing hit.
Nice work.
I really like the cute cutscene that appears at the start. However, having to watch the script every time I die during the final boss fight can be a bit frustrating, and when “NULLIFIED” appears at the end and attacks no longer work, it’s not very clear what I’m supposed to do. Still, I had a lot of fun playing the game.
