When I first started to play it I was about to give up.

How does your game represent "Slick"?
The player movement is slick, and there are jumping puzzles, interactions, and hidden spells that I hope will make my players go "ohhhh they're slick for that!" - Also you can slide around slick-style.

Now this is my type of game. Bizarre in every conceivable way, and all the better for it.
This has that late 90's PC game feeling, where developers hadn't quite settled on an established way to control characters in 3D space. This is one of those alternate control schemes lost to time, and I'm glad to have discovered it.
Great audio, visuals, and fun gameplay. I didn't have time to beat this today, but I'm probably going to come back to this after the voting period. Well done, you should be proud! :)
A surreal game that took a bit to warm up for me but then it hit me with some pretty slick jumps and slides.
I got this mega bonk vibe with the skeleton and then I got silent hills 2 vibe with the levels and the fog. You packed a lot of stuff in for a jam game. and you gave a lot of movement kit to the player. Good game and it even has a cat!
the bg audio just made me feel like I'm in a fever dream, the fact that i was a skeleton running from humans did not help me be any less spooked
I love this game. I fear what you read when I wrote that was "I really like this game." Let me be clear - I LOVE this game. It is such a fever dream in the same way a game you randomly discover on the family PC as a child that you can't remember the title of is. It has this surreal lost media feel and I am all about it. The ridiculous clunky parkour mechanics made me feel slick as hell for assimilating with them. The PS1 characters sliding towards me will haunt my dreams forever. I always thought God was an MP3, because I've never seen him, but this game has shown me the light. Thank you for this experience.
I would ABSOLUTELY download a cat. I had no idea death was... like this. I can't get over the sound effects for dashing around and retreat. It feels like I'm playing with action figures. I have a lot of trouble running web games at full resolution and the jumping puzzles are quite challenging, but the aesthetics here are what it's all about. Bravo!
The aesthetic is pretty weird and unique, like the world is very glitchy which adds to the mood. The controls don’t mesh well with precision 3D platforming though. I get the impression that the game does purposely require finesse, but the weird jump tech combined with the nonstandard control scheme tried my patience.
This is really cool! I love the art and the vibe. It's really something special. It was really fun to discover you could dash into slide. The movement in this game is really fun. It feel intuitive to control for someone that played a lot of WoW back in the day but I can see it tripping some people up.
I couldn't find any of the secret spells. And I wasn't able to get through the jumping puzzle at the end but I think this game is really sweet! Well done!
Ahhh, if you return and try again, I'd encourage you to search for the secret spell in the gas station level. Look up, there may be some out of place cars to jump on... I'm glad you enjoyed the art and vibe, and thanks for letting me know what worked and what didn't, its helpful feedback. Thank you for playing!
It feels like one of the skeletons from dark souls going on his own psychedelic adventure.
I love the janky-ness, it feels on point and fits the vibe. ps1 vibes with this one too. cool difficult platforming ideas.
5/5/5/5.
good work!
Really liked the idea and had some good concepts, summoning the cat was a great feature to see it grow and destroy anything it touches. The jump puzzles were pretty difficult and the spells were really hidden I couldn't find any.
This game really makes you feel like a skeleton, I did find the controls to be very unfamiliar to me since I have never played an MMO and playing it with a drawing tablet instead of a mouse also made it a bit harder. But I actually think that makes it kind of fitting for the game's atmosphere which was great, especially the foggy areas were nice and moody. The optional spells to find were also a great touch even though my 6 11 gas station was kind of trippy.
I'm always saying there should be more games where you download a cat.
Also the atmosphere is great. I like the walls made of static and the eerie way the "living" blindly walk at you.
Climbed a pyramid and confronted god while my cat distracted the people
Silent hill style horror vibes in the portal levels
Interesting parkour mechanics and very surreal visuals

Finally I get to experience what being a slick skeleton is.
Really cool visuals and nice atmosphere. Not gonna lie, the platforming is haaaard. But fun nonetheless.
I think it was a mix of multiple small things:
- I was playing with keyboard and mouse. The dash being on the number key, it was a bit awkward to perform mid air.
- There's a slight delay when performing inputs. But maybe that's from playing the web version
- Hitbox of the skeleton might be slightly too wide
