Which theme(s) did your game incorporate, and how?
EVERYTHING HAS A COST - Health, ammo, and time all pull from the same resource, which is the amount of money you have. Money decreases over time, every time the player shoots costs money, and getting hit by an enemy removes money. No pigs were harmed in the making of the game.

Did you use any pre-made assets? If so, what were they and where were they from?

I made the game following a tutorial, and I split off to make my own version after implementing most of the top-down shooter mechanics.

The gameplay is fun, the theme is executed well. Adding variety of enemies or some buffs/upgrades would be a nice touch. Good job!

I really like the concept — it fits the theme of “everything has a cost” perfectly. Shooting coins and then having to collect them before they disappear is a clever mechanic, and linking your damage to the number of coins you have adds an interesting risk‑reward element.

Once I realized that the bats can’t pass through the coins, I figured the best strategy is to stay in one corner instead of moving around to dodge them. Using this approach, I managed a score of 177 on my second attempt, though I’m sure I could have done even better.

I think the gameplay could be even more engaging if there were rooms with a limited number of various enemies, similar to Smash TV on the Master System. But what you have made so far in the jam time is brilliant! I enjoyed playing, thank you for making this!

I like how the game disincentivizes you to just spam shooting since missing shots just makes you lose money. Enjoyable game!

For sure this game fits perfectly the theme you chose, smart idea.

I don’t know if that’s a personal choice, but I found a little hard to shoot the enemies, because the ammo (coin) is more or less the same size of the bats. Maybe if it were a little bigger it would be cooler 🤓.

Anyway, good job with this one, I know the difficulty is part of gameplay and that worked very well in your game. Maybe a little background music would make it even more enjoyable 😁.

It's a pretty cool theme implementation, and I really like it.

OMG FELLOW BULLET HELL DEV! i loved the theme implementation as it remind me of the OP gun that shoots money in enter the gungeon, always loved that gun and so do i of your game!

Cute game and great implementation of theme! Shooting the bats while dodging them is challenging and fun. Though, I don’t know if this is just on my end, but my player is spawning outside of the house(?) and I’m unable to get in. I agree that background music would make it more exciting!

This likely has to do with start position being tied to view port size, so it may be bugged on small displays or high resolution displays. Will fix for the future!

Great gameplay! I'm not great at shooter games so it was a little hard but it is a great concept and execution! I feel like some music would elevate it

Great execution of the theme! I'm not very good at video games so it was a little too difficult for me, but it was still fun!

Great submission matching the theme perfectly! I like that all the resources the player has is tied to one number, I think that is a great play on the theme. Would be cool to see this be expanded upon, possibly adding a shop or other things to use the money with making it even more complicated to manage the resource. Fun game!
