Quelle bon jeu! J'ai le trouvé amusant. The idea of a stealth game where you're slow is an excellent one - I also liked the challenge of the momentum of the wheelchair and having to slow down and speed up. Lots of good visual feedback like the glow one when you're holding down a movement key - or the whoosh of dust when you knock into things. Really teaches the mechanic without having to explain it and gives a good sense of the hearing radius. Plus loved the old man's cursing! Starts off quite tricky though!
Well that was a fun experience! Really liked the game over "Let's roll you back, mister" sequence. And yeah, voice overs are great too!
Your game is honestly amazing — I really enjoyed the experience. You did a great job! 🔥
If yo ever have some time, I’d love for you to try my game too. I’d really appreciate your feedback.
I didn't understand anything that was said but I liked the voice overs :) the controls felt a bit frustrating to use
Thanks for the feedback! We wanted the player to feel the old man’s slowness, and we intentionally made the controls a bit clunky to reflect that. That said, we understand it can be frustrating. It would definitely benefit from some improvements.
Really glad you liked the voice overs even without understanding the meaning :)
Couldn't get the game to start, 70Mb is a tall order for a micro jam. It feels like it's connecting to a server to allow me to play the game. It's a bit sketchy. I guess it's supposed to be a multiplayer game but I don't feel like a demo should have this much overhead.
Can you strip the game to a simpler smaller version, if not now in a future jam
Hi, thanks for your feedback!
About the size: yes it's a bit heavy, sorry about that. I can't say we really invested in optimizing size on disk (two days was short!). But that's definitely a valid feedback for future - longer - projects.
The only online feature we have is the leaderboards. It is just sending your high score to a server. We've used the amazing Leaderboard Creator from Danial Jumagaliyev (https://danqzq.itch.io/leaderboard-creator).
