How does your game represent "Slick"?
The movement of the player's submarine was made to feel slippery and slick and a little bit tricky to control. The main power-up is a nitro canister which gives the player a speed boost and makes the game even more slick. There is also a bonus "slick mode" unlocked after completing the game which allows the player to barrel through levels at full speed and can be quite slick and difficult to control.

The controls were tricky to learn but a fun challenge as iI kept playing (which hey definitely fit it being slick!). Was satisfying to move fast and shoot the enemies along the way, fun time!

I liked the curving torpedo glitch/tech. Introduced some cool moments. The sub was certainly a little cumbersome to maneuver, but that might be intentional based on your description. Either way, a fun little game!

I think slickmode was a fun addition :)

I think simply tying controls to the players perspective instead of the submarines would have gone a long way. The steerable torpedo glitch did make for some fun self-imposed challenges tho.

I don't know if it was intentional, but I really found that you could change the torpedo direction mid-flight by shooting in another direction. I had some fun trying to hit enemies around corners with this!

One bit of constructive feedback: a prompt for what button to press to interact with things can be helpful! I forgot the interact key for the button on the first level and restarted to see the controls.

Thank you for the feedback!  That feature wasn't technically intentional but fun to hear you made good use of it!

Reminds me of classic browser games. Controls are a bit tricky.

I'm going to be honest. This game feels bad to play for me. Perhaps that's just me.
I understand difficult controls as a gimmick (I beat getting over it) but this felt like the maps were not designed for this control scheme to feel fun. It feels cool to get boost but you are always confronted by a wall. I don't think that's bad later on but early on you want to get the player addicted to your gameplay by giving them the dream scenario.

I think this game would shine better if it had more straight paths to zoom through and dodge obstacles few.
