I love the art and the vibe of the minigames. tons of fun! I wish there was a reward for winning all of them in a row

really cool concept, i’d love to see it explored further. I replayed it a bit, and got my best time down to 57.0 seconds

a really simple concept but really elegant in its execution! it was shockingly fun to play, i played several rounds.

simple game but very cute, the voices were great!

unless i’m missing something, if you pop a balloon, it just… doesn’t respawn. so then your level is unplayable if you mess up once. so then you either have to wait 60 seconds or reload the page. it seems like a pretty fun platformer, but its too punishing without the balloons respawning.

as others mentioned, it seems like you can just put down infinite towers. the chain reaction mechanic is REALLY fun, and if designed to be a bit more balanced (instead of shoot once and win) could lend itself to a really fun game!!

Great concept, that is super fun. simple but effective! I had a ton of fun, only took my four deaths but i think i got EXCEPTIONALLY lucky. Really great work!!

well... the critter isn't intended to... do that lol

it's intended to be scared of light, but its always fun to see what other ways to winpeople manage to find!

thanks for playing, hope you liked it!

me irl

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for your kind words! I guess that means we did our job well lol this was our first attempt at a scary game, so I’m glad it was effective. (I’m also not the best at stomaching horror so no worries ;P its easier when youre the one behind the curtain tho lol)

Phenomenal work! my favorite game of the jam thusfar! It was legitimately addicting. I’d love to see a two player couch PvP version of this. If you ever do, I wish you could angle rebounds (You might be able to already, but I never got it.) It would make them a bit strong as I feel right now angling your shots is more valuable than immediately sending it back in to your opponents arms.

Yeah I laughed. Thank god there no “pay taxes” button!

Great work! fun concept with solid execution! I especially liked the character art. The chicken was very cute.

Cute game with a nice visual design. Idk if I missed some animals or if I accidentally threw one off the edge, but I couldn’t get past level one. I think I had the whole stage clear. (Unless you werent suppose to sell the animals oops but I didn’t really know what I was supposed to do with em.)

A fun little core gameplay loop. Would have been fun to be able to pick up alternate weapons a la vampire survivors. Great work!

I can only play on the web build, so that likely accounts for my difficulties, but across three attempts I only managed to actually… assign a single task? I think I understand that the different colors below each employee are what color tasks they can receive, but I couldn’t seem to actually assign them by drag and dropping except once. Again, the issue very well could have been weirs web build shenanigains.

thank you for taking the time to try it out! we really appreciate it and are glad you enjoyed :)

wow! thanks a bunch! we're really glad you enjoyed!! thanks for playing!

You're telling me someone greased these monkeys? It was fun but it feels punishing to make a single mistake and have to start all over, especially being forced to reread all of the dialog each time. I think some sound effects would go a long way helping me get immersed in this greasy world.

(1 edit)

Great visuals, really tight design and a fun take on the typing game genre. The ctrl+w gag made me laugh, but it made me wish there were more "secret" button combos or hidden commands in the terminal. I spammed a few classic unix commands at it hoping for some easter eggs which I think would have been a fantastic cherry on top. Great work overall! It was fun, the visuals were great and the music was fresh!

A fun concept with nice visuals anda very understandable game loop! The controls are a bit touchy but i think thats part of the fun!

Really cool concept and i wish i could have played more, but something about the CRT effect made me nauseous from how powerful it was. If there was a way to tone that down I would love to play more!!

Brutally difficult but a fun and unique concept! The music did get repetitive over the course of my MULTIPLE retries trying to get clean.

yeah it certainly takes a bit of getting used to. you kinda have to let the platforms come to you rather than you going to them, so to speak.

Thanks for playing!

huh... yeah that might be a framerate thing? im assuming on web build? we had several of our friends playtest for us and never had that happen.

This has so much packed into it, it’s insane to think this was made in a week! Tons of fun!!!

I had fun and laughed a lot, but what’s the point of the game ;-; i felt like i killed like 40 ogres. can you even die? i tried to let them just wail on me for a while and nothing. took it like a champ. in fact they killed each other… pretty easily. my run only ended cus i accidentally fell off the map into the infinite void.

Still had fun tho. Great job lol

Great work, a pretty fun and unique idea! I found it a little difficult to navigate but I think thats part of the charm! Great work!

Pretty fun concept, but unfortunately I can’t play windows games so I’m forced to play the web version which seems a little unstable. The framing is funny and the minigames were interesting and varied. well done!

Glad to see another puzzle platformer in the jam! Really fun idea and executed well. I spent way longer than i should have trying to go through the “shortcut” on the last level… eventually just went to the left and made it almost instantly lol.
If you ever develop this further, i would recommend tweaking the jump height. there were a lot of times you could get stuck barely jumping half a block and the grey bricks were just a bit too tall to jump on but a bit too small to get under.
Also i love the style, especially the background! tons of fun!

REALLY cool game. Especially as a solo dev!! The visuals are fun and creative, the mechanics are well designed. It just feels great to play! Well done!!

Loved the art style, especially the parallax background. (Gee i wonder if there’s any other parallax themed games in this jam teehee)  The gameplay was fun and intuitive, tho I do feel its a bit too punishing. it feels like if you miss a dolphin once, its GG. Perhaps if there was a difficulty scaling where the first bit would be just jellyfish or something similar. But all together well made!

A fun bullet hell game, which I havnt seen many this jam. I think you struck a good balance between difficulty, slipperiness, and control. pretty satisfying all around!

That frog tongue does certainly do an S-lick, nobody can take that from you.

This was fun! Simple concept, but well executed. The adjustable tongue curve was super satisfying to use.

As an avid rhythm game fan, this is right up my ally! controls were smooth, gameplay satisfying, and music groovy. This is a great game jam game, a perfect balance of easy to pick up but still plenty of room to improve when you replay! Tons of fun and can't wait to see what else you do!!

Fun game, the marble is definitely difficult to steer, and honestly the most effective strategy seems to be just get as many swords as possible. Still a ton of fun, I was hootin' and hollerin' the whole time. Great job!

Great work and congratulations on your first game jam, that is seriously a huge accomplishment!! I played and also had my girlfriend play through and we both had a good time!

Seriously a great typing game! Some more variance among the words would be great, but overall excellent! The look and feel was great, the mechanics are simple but there is still strategy about which phrases to go for.

(Also +1 for the balatro-esque background. IDK if thats what you were going for but thats a huge positive in my book)
