I will definitely say that the physics are definitely fun interesting and I could see them being used in another project. This is an honest good start to something better if allowed more time to cook!

This is a good prototype! I liked the color scheme of the character and the snail as well as the environment. If you wanted to mainly implement/practice how clean physics work during this game jam, you definitely did it. Everything felt really responsive. At one point, I used the grappling hook on the snail and was holding some keys which lifted the snail and I off the ground. Not sure how that happened internally, but it was funny to watch.

Wait what? :D I need to replicate that!

And yes, I’m practicing to understand GODOT better and game jams are the best way to get as much experience as possible in the shortest time possible. Thanks for your kind feedback!

Nice feeling trying to go as fast as possible grapple hooking the ground and the snail, cool prototype!

Moving around was a lot of fun! Even though the giant snail doesn't hurt you, having it follow you around really gave it an imposing presence XD

Fun sandbox prototype that shows off promising movement and grappling mechanics!

hey unfinished prototype is actually off to a great start. Something about grapple mechanics. I just had fun grappling and getting on top of the big snail. You got a solid foundation if you want to continue on it. I love the big snail

Swingy grappley mechanics are always fun. Grats on submitting!

Cool, nice start to a game. Snail is menacing and fun to grapple on to.

Great movement! I'd love to actually see some levels built out for this!

Fun little game with some nice movement. Curious to see where this game leads.

Nice movement. It's a shame there's no objective! I would've liked to play around with something to do. Grappling hook feels great.

This is a fun little toybox sorta game. Had fun goofing around in it!

To all the nice people who left a comment: I would gladly review your games if they could run on Mac :( I can still review the browser games though!

More games need a taunt button.

Super smooth movement though! would love to see this expanded on

Yeah, the physics and controls feel good, but my god, you have to turn that giant snail into a horror game. Incredible character design!

Submitted(+1)

The controls feel great. Very smooth. I like the slo-mo too. This is a great foundation. Nice work!
