Which theme(s) did your game incorporate, and how?
Both themes. It's an auto-battler. You pay with HP to buy pigs. If your pigs die, the game is over.

Did you use any pre-made assets? If so, what were they and where were they from?
background music (Happy Adventure by TinyWorlds) from opengameart.org

Fun game!

Really simple and intuitive little strategy game. I liked the hit sounds, they helped make the battle feel vast as all the many hit sounds rang out at once.

It would be cool if pig placement affected starting positions more consistently, then I could put my turbo fighting pig up front to defend the weaker pigs in the back.

I made it to round 25 with this build

The basic pig horde approaches. How will you respond?

Had a fun time with this one. Great job!

Nice entry. Battle was a little glitchy, or jittery.

My defeat came a little bit sudden I think, at wave 16 I suddenly lost despite crushing it all the waves before, idk.

But I was genuinely entertained until then!

There was a bit of jank with how the pigs moved and how they were dragged from the bench, but besides that I really enjoyed it. Developing this idea further with new units and enemies would be fun to see.

It is fun. In the future, I expect a full scale auto-battler from you. But of course there is some room to improve.

Pigs tend to leave the screen or disappear when they are dragged at times. Power scaling seems to need balance. It was easy until 23 after figuring it out but merging cause a big loss in overall power it seems, so I have lost in wave 26. At some point, they die too easily, even at level 4 against level 3–4 wolves. Even though I have filled the battlefield with them. I think their base stats are a bit too high and their merged power is not strong enough. But yeah it had to end at some point, or I would keep playing until I reach 100, probably. Also, it would be great to see more color changes after reaching purple. It is addictive to see them growing like that. Finally, need either a more chill music or just full action. Depending on the mood you wish to achieve.

Overall it was pretty good. I couldn't stop playing.

I always made it above wave 10 each time I played its rlly fun! only problem I found was that the pigs disappear when you merge them, but good work!

The game needs some polishing, but the idea is fun! It's a game i'd play when i want to just chill, watch and click something  on the background. Good job

I made it to wave 25~! Really fun and good balance, and the mechnics were simple to understand and dive right into, while having a lot of stragetries to try out. I love the artwork and music and SFX very fitting.  Just a clean up on those ui bugs/workaround and you're good!

I made it to wave 13! I lost a level 2 basic pig because I merged a level 1 with it to see what would happen and the level 2 disappeared from the bench. Does the placement of your units on the battlefield affect the where they spawn when the battle begins? It didn't seem so to me, but that would be a great feature. You could add a vanguard of shield pigs that way. The game could use some more classes and enemy types, but for the time span it was made it, it was really solid! Great job!

I’ve been having a blast playing your game! Carming is such a fun experience, like watching a little army of pigs grow. I’d really love to see a more polished version in the future, but the current version is still great! ;) Sometimes, I’ve noticed that collision boxes can crash, and the pigs don’t attack as expected; they just wander around instead.

The concept and creativity gone into the battler system in theme of the jam aswell is pretty great

Pretty interesting gameplay loop. I think there is some error with the spots for the pigs - when I return them back to "hand", the spot remains occupied and I can't place anything there. Overall it is really interesting :&
