I am so so happy you managed to overcome your burnout and deliver this amazing game! Thanks for recommending, I missed playing this during the stream, but will share the recording! Loved the scaling difficulty, the multiple endings, and 2 levels of QTE when losing the dog XD Amazing! Congrats

this was a fun idea! i like how it switches to a totally different gameplay when the dog gets off the leash, good job

Developer

Thanks :)

Wow, this was really funny. I like your game a lot, the SFX and Music are great and the QTE fit so well. I loved the detail that poo made you slower when chasing the dog :D

Developer

Thanks I am glad you enjoyed it 😀

So many endings, and they all end in death 🤣

A very interesting idea, and a very cute dog!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliment! Glad you liked the doggy :)

Also sorry i played your game for a video we were making a few days ago. I really enjoyed it but forgot to comment and rate it lol so doing that now.

This is so wholesome and sad with the endings wow.

Developer(+1)

Thanks glad you liked it :)

FYI Your game was actually the first game that got chosen at random to be reviewed from the jam for a video we made looking at some of the games from Round 2 of GDKO 2026...

Damn good to know man. A probability of 1/56 xD I feel lucky and special right now. Also the feedback you have given are common and important ones to be noted. I have a special emotion on this game, so if I get the time, I will definitely improve and improvise in the future even more!

Good modes of play mixed with good QTEs, well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing its appreciated!

Submitted(+1)

Love the idea!!! would like a bit more time to react to the QTE in the road! :P but a very good game idea!!

Developer(+1)

Dog 🐶 👍

Playing the game was fun, loved the way how difficulty increased with the clickable area lowering in size and the small details like the effects after you click an key was also a good touch. it's amazing how you take a task as qte which is not that easy but still implement it in such a simple way.. btw i got 3 endings..did i get all or is there anymore?

Developer

there are 5 endings :) thanks for the kind feedback!

Submitted(+1)

I remember playtesting this!

I like the improvement.

Awesome that you fit so many endings in there, well done! :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing it again glad you like the improvements :)

I lost my doggy then I died :'(

The QTE's in the chasing down scene was a little difficult to see easily. Kinda wish you just used the arrow keys but that's just because I suck at QTE's and I panic when I see the letters lol

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear you lost the dog and died. Yeah once you get far in first part those letters move pretty damn quick its hard not to lose the doggie. Thanks for playing though and i will take your feedback onboard. I'll give your game a play and a rating as soon as I'm able probably tomorrow. I'll drop you a comment anyway on your game page once i do.

Nice work, it's like you did 2 games for this entry!

For the jam, I recommend being able to restart the phase instead of going back to the rhythm game portion.  It took a little long for retries, even though I wanted to reply the second part. It's probably intended that way though, since it's set up like a skill-based score attack.

I loved the transition between game types, I think you could take that hook even further!

Developer(+1)

Thanks yeah it is sort of 2 games a way or at least x2 completely different styles in the one game. The easiest way to get to the top down part is just to purposely miss a letter as your not really meant to lose the dog ideally. But yeah i maybe could have put in a retry button to at least skip the intro screen segment part.

Cheers for your constructive feedback and for playing its appreciated.

Thanks for the trick to get to the 2nd part, I got to go get the Intense Walk ending! The top-down portion is definitely my favorite part

Submitted(+1)

I went from calmly walking my dog to stepping on poo to getting run over in the span of 10 seconds 😅 Fun game and concept. maybe the QTE in the topdown part were a bit hard to see.

Developer(+1)

Lol cheers for playing! Yeah the poop did blend in quite well on some of the terrain. Thanks for the feedback also I'm glad you had a bit of fun I'll give your game a play a rating shortly.

I like it! Feel more relaxing exploration to me, exploring allllll the endings I can Get! Good content, all I wish is that you had more time to develop and polish it, A few endings even made me laugh, good job! Hope to see you next round!

If you can please check out my updated entry I would appreciate that a lot.

Developer(+1)

R.I.P :'(

This game was so fun! I'm glad the dog didn't die :D

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'll give your game a play as soon as i get a chance :)

That 3rd ending was a GRIND. A grind well worth it though. The humor in this game is it's best feature. You made me laugh more than one time. I think you've utilized one of the most overlook sections of level design, which is the player's expectations. For me, it's a solid 8/10 submission. I genuinely wanted to see all the endings, which were all unique. The game was short enough to be able to get all endings within 30min, which for me is a good amount of playtime.

I don't want to spend too much time on the pain points, but the critical issue in my opinion is that the QTEs for the cars were not onscreen unless you were walking in a very specific spot. Since the cars are lightning fast, being able to see those are crucial for it to feel fair.

Honestly, that's my only issue. This was fun to play, and definitely a standout submission. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much the game took a bit of a turn when started ant though "quick time events are easy to implement and make good". I am so impressed with the other entries methods for QTEs definitely need to study up and practice, The silly idea and fun was my main hope of winning folks over with a few endings :)

I am hoping I make it to round 3 as I have yet to make it to the head to head section of GDKO, but always grateful to be a part of it anyway.

This game was fun and I think the shift from rhythm game to top-down crawler was really silly (in a good way!). I also jumped out of my chair and started cry-laughing with my friend when I got ending 3 lol

Submitted(+1)

Great Game!:) was very fun to play! even caused me to jump out of my chair:P

Developer

Thank what a great first comment would have love to see footage of the chair jump lol
