amazong game, top best of this round, so amazed with your polish on stream! Just oozes with juice

how can this simple of a game be so FUN? Good Job! I loved it! finished it twice because I wanted to get a higher score, it was really polished and beautiful, you can make a great game out of this, cant wait to see what you come up with next round!
if you can please check out my entry I would appreciate that a lot.

Really had fun with this game! Love that it is actually centered around a QTE! what a great idea!

This was a really fun game, loved the SFX, made it feel really polished. The figure 8 was a little tricky because I wasn't sure which direction it would go at first and kept missing it because I just didn't have time to react. When it got to the letters I lost even faster. Still a fun game I just suck at QTE's

Submitted

Smooth makes your game really fun to play. You could write the instructions in the description btw. That would definitely help a bit.

it's an amazing game, the gameplay was just super super smooth and was super fun to play, and also quite challenging.. and i loved all the unique qte's type , each one was challenging and kept me excited to see what new variation would come up next!

The first playthough some weird stuff happened with the resolution and a lot of the level was cut off (figure 8), but coming back to try again and get some screenshots of the issue, It all went really well and got to the end, the bonus was quite the surprise but it felt rad to get a massive score. Really nice work!

good implementation of QTEs

Very polished, well done!

Nice little game impressive design and quite fun actually once you get going. Level 4 went over my head though as wasn't sure what to do with the letters?

Thanks for the experience though i had a couple of solid attempts to get past that level.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for trying it out. You need to press the corresponding  letter when the marker is in green/ yellow zone.

Thanks for letting me know funny i didn't even think of that for some reason i though until i saw the D's it had something to do with DNA. Anyway i had a replay and it took me awhile to even get back to the fourth level i made it to easily before, somehow i got worse from freshly playing the game. Anyway i had a go at it but having to precision press the mouse and different keyboard buttons might be the limit of my ability it seems lol!

I like that the entire game is built around QTEs. It's the best implementation I've seen so far.

It's fun, it's grate. 5 stars in these categories, no doubt about it ✨

Thank you for playing

I really like this one! My high score was 5580 and I made it to round 5 I think it was. I love that you can choose which cards to play and how the level can change by giving a different size area of yellow and green as well as a different shaped paths and buttons to press. There's a lot of depth to what initially looks like a simple game and the presentation is fantastic

Developer(+1)

Thank you for  your time.

WOW amazing game!

I always get inspired to make a game like this cause I love playing them! They are so addictive! :D

Well done, everything felt super polished and smooth.

You nailed the interpretation on the theme and the game is super fun!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing.

Wow. The juice here is very juicey. At first I thought I had it figured out, and then I got to the infinity symbol. Then a realized that there's a lot of depth to this game. You've definitely got something cool on your hands, and I hope that you can make this into a full release. I do think there's some balance needed, but that's going to happen in every game jam. The main issue I had was that some of the loops have an outcome where even if you click it on your first pass through a green/yellow section, there's not enough time on the thing to actually complete it. Maybe it's a skill issue, but it felt like rng.

TLDR, great job, very impressive game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing. Yeah the time can be rough if you wait for to long and in 3 round but i thought it may encourage  player to add more speed and the feel that marker is almost there kinda make you more involved  so I left it as it is, but yeah balance is off obviously anyway appreciate your feedback.

A fun game that had me addicted for a while.  I like the card concept for choices. Everything looked and played very well polished, well done!

Developer

Thank you for tour time.

Super satisfying, polished, and visually appealing! Great game!

Developer

Thanks for playing.

This was very well put together! I found the typing variation a very interesting addition. Clever use of paths!

Got around 9300 points. Judging from the other games i lost on the last round i think lol.

For future reference, animate UI elements by setting the pivot to 0.5, 0.5 (possible in godot 4.6+), which makes them a lot nicer than animated from the top left:D

Also i got a lot of deja vu to my first jam game from the first screenshot LOL (a bubble on a procedual noise background) XD

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for your time. Okay, I'll keep that in mind (but I am on 4.5 still). Well, I think procedural noise is a pretty pleasant effect, so to speak, especially after the success of balatro — though I don’t know when exactly you made your.

Submitted(+1)

Oh for sure! It just looked a bit like my game from 2 and a half years ago where the visuals could kinda remind you a bit of that lol

Submitted(+1)

this was not only fun, but suuuper satisfying. the ui grabs me right out the gate and your use of effects ate. down. understood the prompt well and delivered a polished product, well done.

Developer

I’m grateful for your time!

Nice entry, the visuals and audio were very satisfying!

The zigzag key pressing level was very challenging, I recommend at least for the jam version to let the player retry the stage instead of restarting the game on fail.

I thought the combination of QTE and modifiers was pretty unique, good job coming up with that!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah, really nice advice!

Submitted(+1)

This is literally THE QTE event game, a Balatro of QTEs, and could be developed even further to include deckbuilding and other stuff. Levels are nice (even tho I never managed to beat the round 2), but based on your screenshots there are still more levels left to experience. I might return playing this after I've reviewed all the other games.

Developer(+1)

I appreciate your time. I thought it would be easy to beat because there are OP cards. There are 5 rounds total.

Submitted(+1)

Don't worry, I don't think it's too hard, I guess I just have to practice my timing a little before I can beat it!
