It’s a logic puzzle, but trying to solve it logically may not always be the best strategy—especially in the timed mode. As you play, patterns emerge and strategies reveal themselves.

A well-polished puzzle game with a unique central mechanic that fits the theme perfectly, what a refreshing experience!! The whole game is executed very cleanly, from art to sfx to little bits of polish like the score text popping up after a round; it all feels like a ready-for-market mobile game already. It took me a minute to understand the mechanics but once I did there was a decent amount of depth to them. I don't really have any criticisms it was just a fun and well polished playthrough with the right amount of complexity and approach-ability. I think there is some decent potential for a mobile game here. Maybe adding progressive difficulty like 5x5 grid, a tile that is squashed if a rock falls on it, etc could help add more variety to the game. Really nice entry, keep up the great work!!

edit: I also really loved the colors/background, the presentation is great

Great puzzle game. You always have neat puzzle mechanics.

Thank you.

What an addictive game! It was genuinely so fun to play, and the SFX and music fit so well. When I first saw it, I was like, "No way I'll play a puzzle game for more than 2 rounds." 30 mins later and I'm mesmerized. Really creative puzzles, awesome work!

A great puzzle game with cool features. If you made more difficult puzzles later on this could 100% be a app store game, from someone working in the mobile gaming space.

Nice puzzle game

Levels could scale in difficulty for example, starting with 3x3 grids and progressing to 5x5 and so on. Some levels can feel memorizable after a few tries. The game looks great and pairs perfectly with the music. Excellent work overall!

Thank you.

The level design can be improved—you’re right about that. But the 3x3 is already difficult for most people. 5x5 would be pretty much unplayable except for some hardcore puzzlers, let alone beyond that.

In the next update, the levels will go from “solvable in 2 moves” to 3 moves, to 4 moves, etc., also with variations in allocated time.

Always fun playing your puzzle games in these jams! I loved the look of this one.. the assets for the bubble and rock are awesome and go really well with the background. The color scheme is also very pleasing to look at and apt for a puzzle game where you might have to stare at something for a long time before something clicks!

Im not great at solving such puzzles, so really couldnt solve more than 3 or 4 puzzles, but pretty satisfying feeling after you solve one. I could figure out a broad strategy to solve and felt good after that haha. I like that you have a practice mode for a more relaxed challenge where you can take your time and figure out strategies and then try out the challenges. I came to know that there was a hints mode after playing for a couple of times (maybe can be made clearer by just writing text instead of an icon? not a big deal, but just more clear)

The theme was pretty well integrated with the flip mechanic although i felt after watching a few solutions - can all puzzles be solved without using the flip mechanic? Or it is more of a time saver mechanic where you can solve it in lesser moves?

The audio loop felt a bit repetitive after a while so in case you want to work further on this, maybe a longer one would be better suited.

Overall a solid entry and a great puzzle game, definitely something you can make into a larger game :)

Oh, wow. Thank you for being a fan, and for the elaborate feedback. I actually agree with you on all the points you brought up. I know the game can be improved in several ways—I was in a rush to finish it. And yes, the flip mechanic is optional, it can be used as a “shortcut” sometimes.

Cheers!

it is simple but yet somehow really intriguing! feel proud finishing each step

Well, i had fun with it and fit the theme well, my only suggestion is to work on a "beginner's mode" to make clear of the goal, moves and logic.
