How does the game fit the theme?
You are stuck in a seemingly infinite office and can switch into a strange dark world, which i would call strange places
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Very cool I enjoyed this a lot, only thing I would say that it would be better that dimension switching button is F instead of E, it was uncomfortable to move and press E at the same time in jumping level. Overall, great game GJ :)
Thanks! We're already working on a post-jam version where we would change the controls and maybe even make them customizable. Anyway, thanks for playing!
I got stuck on one of the platforms in level 3. I struggled the whole time getting to the door in the light world while jumping in the air. I definitely must've missed something. Either way, this is a great Portal-like 2D puzzle game where you're in 2 strange places/worlds and you're trying to solve puzzles by interacting between the worlds. I'm sure the puzzles in the later levels were super creative as well. The gameplay was really fun for me despite the challenge I ran into in the 3rd level.
Thanks for playing! Make sure to revisit the game after the jam, because were gonna change the controls to make them easier. But for now: try holding E with your middle finger, D with your index finger, and SPACE with your thumb, all at the same time for a bit longer than a second. Anyway, thanks for playing!
this is probably THE coolest puzzle platformer i've ever played, simultaneously changing world while you're rushing through the doors is very satisfying, great job y'all!
Thank you!
I really like the pixel art, it's super cool. It's a very fun game too I really like the jumping puzzles. Great job!
Thanks!
A fellow computer game. Cool submission! The vibes were great and puzzles were creative! E I think was a bold choice for switching worlds for that one puzzle that required pressing D and jumping. Maybe my fingers no work good. Great job!
Thank you! I think we’re impro6the controls post jam
Nice puzzles. The theme is cool, kind of gives me Severance vibes for some reason..
Thanks!
very clever concept, i really enjoyed it. Loved the art style and the level design, the only problem I had was with the change jump, it doesn't seem to be working in air like the instruction says, i had to change the world before jumping, but it worked, anywaaay, good job guys, you have a gem here!
Thanks! What platform or browser are you playing on? I can’t seem to recreate the issue of not being able to switch midair.
Vivaldi browser on Windows 11
Sorry I installed the latest version of Vivaldi to test and i still cant seem to recreate the issue. Thanks for replying!
Nice concept and its executed well!, i got stuck on level 11 tho :( , also it was kind of hard to change world while jumping it might have been better if was jump and space was change world. amazing game tho!
Thanks! We’re planning on improving the controls after the jam
really really well done. clever levels and concept, pixel art is great. i had a lot of fun playing this!
Thank you!
Game was fun but the controls where hard. Its an award combination to user E & W while playing with WASD+SPACE.
Thanks! And yea we’re definitely going to improve the controls after the jam
it's a fun and engaging mechanic very well executed! the gameplay gets a little hectic for me, feels like I have to speedrun and make every movement and interaction perfectly from around level 11 if i don't want to start from the beginning, but the overall experience is very impressive!
Thanks!
Very well done game. I played through it all. Movement controls are snappy and responsive, and the whole dark world system is really cool. I would find some way to communicate to the player what elements are in the other world without continuously shifting between worlds, since I found some tight sections more about memorizing the two worlds' layout than thinking about puzzle or platform sections.
It has great potential to become a full game. I'm curious to see its future!
Thank you! We are planning on making a post-jam version. During the jam I did think that we maybe should indicate what is in the other world, but we feared that it would take away the puzzle aspect of the levels.
Makes total sense, maybe give a little ghostly image of only platforms in the other world would do great, keeping puzzle elements like levers and buttons hidden :)
Fun puzzle game, got through the extra levels too! The controls are a bit awkward as the world switch and interact buttons are side by side and in the harder levels it becomes more of a memory game because I find myself constantly pressing a button and memorizing where all the doors I have to go through are located.
Post jam it would be cool to also have a tie back for why a dark world exists and maybe have a spooky final level to end it off. Awesome work!
Thank you for playing and for your feedback! We are planning on revamping the controls post-jam, and maybe fleshing out the story and the dark world more.
Reminds me of Titanfall 2!! Excellent puzzle game, I played all the extra levels too! No notes, this is a great jam game, well done :))
Thank you!
Nice game! I love the themed naming of the levels. I CLIMBED THE CORPORATE LADDER!!!
Thank you! We worked hard on the names.
bro who turned off the lights in the dark world haha. I like the shock factor of when you first switch over but I do wish there was a visual way to see into the other world at the same time to allow you to pause to figure out the objective.
I'm glad you liked it! But i think some way to see into the other world would take away a big part of the puzzle element
Loved the tutorial levels as it got me familiar with the games mechanics and I could dive straight into the challenge of level 5 onwards! Very cool gameplay which makes you think
A lot of people found them confusing, glad to hear you didn't. Thanks for playing!
Really great puzzle platformer. Everything felt really fleshed out, the visuals were great, the story and message was nice, and the levels were tricky but still enjoyable!
Thank you! We're happy for all the positive feedback :)
Is there some hidden message behind the two worlds that I'm missing?
We originally just thought of that as a game mechanic, and i didn't really get that far into incorporating everything into the story. But here's my original idea: an unknown entity picked out the main protagonist because he has a weak mind (cuz hes in a depression) and feeds off of him by tormenting him by putting him in an endless office. The entity originally came from the dark world. Both the entity and the dark world would symbolise his depression. And the endless office was a symbol for him constantly working overtime.
We'll probably further incorporate all of this when the jam is over.
interesting -> looking forward to the post jam version to play ^^
I like the creative approach to the puzzle mechanics. Switching worlds was sometimes tricky but a lot of fun. I got stuck in the textures just once
Thanks, where did you get stuck? Because I’ve been trying to minimise the amount of places where it’s possible to clip trough
By accident in this place
