This is a cool insight. I am only just getting into my first long-term game project and have historically always relied on my instinctual internal compass for design decisions and art direction. Now with some need to actually plan things out months in advance, I wonder if the compass will prove to be a strength, or a hindrance.

Loved the game, keep jammin’ bru!

chooka chooka chooka chooka

i love this

thanks for playing! glad you liked the art :))

I have managed to save 8 derps. my god these guys love to wander off and become dum xD

so many great details and amazing art, had lots of fun mooshing my eyeballs around :))

very fun and chaotic! I like that the vape is randomised so you can play more than once!

loved this!! the art style is so crunchy, and I enjoyed the internal monologue vibes! I have the strangest urge to go to Mavricks though. cannot imagine why

very nice work guys, I am the finest matchmaking auntie in Bombay :))

Thank you for playing! :))

Thank you! You’ll be happy to know that we’ve added this feature to the game now! :))

Heya! We just released an update that should have fixed this. If it’s still happening, could you let us know which eggs/silk they were not able to harvest if possible?

I did not keep my decorum. I am a pitiless fool and a coward.

thanks for playing!!

that’s awesome thank you! new update sees Clownsilk being used more now, but we have more plans for it as we move to a steam release.

haha wow thanks!! we’re heading to steam so hopefully you won’t have to wait long :)

thank you!!

thank you for the super detailed post I am so happy you were inspired enough to spend so much time and thought on our weird clown hole thing :’))

We will definitely be taking those points into consideration as we move forward, in fact some of them have been addressed in the latest update!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback, super helpful for us to get an idea of how the bosses feel to deal with!

Thanks for your feedback, super appreciated!!! would love to know what you think of our latest update since it is much more in line with our vision for a full release!

thanks!!! we’ve got a steam page up now so you can wishlist! :))

Thanks so much for playing! We should have an update out soon with new content based on feedback we’ve received :))

Thank you for playing!

that’s the plan hahaha

we cannot believe it x_x

Woo nice!! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! We’ve got updates coming ;)

Thanks for playing and so glad you enjoyed!

Yes! We are planning on a steam release!

Will check it out :)

Thank you! :))

Game always crashes when I get to around 60k-70k score using a + Count/Crit Chance/Crit Damage Hunter build (I think because of how many particle effects are on screen at once?). Wickedly fun game though! If the crash is fixed, I will keep going for the highscore.

Hey thanks for playing our game! :)

You should have full control over when you leave the level, since you have to click the Minecart full of Blue Ore button in order to leave. You should technically be able to stay in a level as long as you like.

It is also possible you are missing out on the Egg Clowns! They are the clowns in the blue party hats that run away when you expand the light level. There is a specific way to catch them which you can discover through the upgrade tree (I also gave a guide on how to do it in a comment a little further down).

No problem, I’ll put it in a summary:

How to catch the Egg Clowns

You first need to unlock the Lamppost building from the upgrades tree. Then, while you’re in a level with an Egg Clown, mouse around the darkness until you hear a loud, rasping laugh (or look for a clown glimmer with a blue party hat).

You then need to place a Lamppost close to that spot, which will reveal the Egg Clown in dim light and cause it to fight you instead of run away.

Hey thanks for the comment! Have you encountered the clown with eggs in his back that runs away from the elevator light when you expand it? Most levels have at least one of those clowns, and there is a specific way to catch him.

Thank you so much for playing!

yeah it's tricky to balance!

Whoaaa thanks for playing and giving your thoughts!! You bring up so many good points of feedback, echoing stuff that we mulled over quite a bit in the development cycle, like whether clowns should attack during the quiet periods or not. Ultimately, we leaned more toward the "choose your own pace" design, but there are so many things we could add to keep the tension going.

Really appreciate the video, it's very valuable to us devs to see how players interact with the game!!!

The little "larva" clowns are just there to give you something else to click. Maybe in a future update, we can give them an actual purpose, like being able to swarm your buildings or chase your guys around!

Thanks so much for playing! Hope we get a chance to go further with the concept :))
