So cool! I loved the art style!! Good job guys :D
As I finished day 2 I told myself I wouldn't be playing through all 10 days... I lied. The rising tension, constant addition of more things to juggle and an ever increasing pace kept me hooked all the way through. All accompanied by fitting music and great usage of SFX. While the mechanics themselves were simple the game stayed interesting for the entire duration by maintaining a perfect balance of pace, both within a specific day but also with which exact days changed certain elements. The mix of customers with 2 and 3 requests kept the gameplay dynamic by sometimes making you fall behind and moments later providing a calm period where you are able to catch up.
Really well made entry!
The art style looks awesome!
Amazing art and really fun to play. Nice!
amazing visuals! nice work!
i like the concept!
Cool game! I wish that the player can recieve some kind of boon though, not that just the gameplay and the finding ingredients getting more difficult; it would be cool to get some more rewards between the levels!
Love the music and good art style
You have a great art style and I love the visual effects!
The sound effects were soooo good!! i wish there were more portals and more customers at a time to make it more chaotic and challenging haha.
Very cool artstyle and game idea, creating the correct portals and sending people there was really nice and fit the theme very well!
Only thing that bothered me a little but was the audio, it was a bit too loud for me, a pause menu to adjust sound would have been great!
The 2D handpaint artsyle is great!
Loved the art of this game! The sound effects were also very on point, well done!
The sound design is really good and the art is very intriguing, I like how the portal destinations expanded as you went from day to day. I think if for the starting level had a quick guide to send your first customer on their way then the player can jump straight into the challenge informed. One solo dev to another, Great job!
It's a cool concept, but I would have loved a little extra challenge or variety of some kind, beyond simply seeing what a customer wants and giving it to them before time runs out. Maybe a destination could become unavailable if it's already in use on a portal, so you have to strategically prioritise things a bit more. Or you could choose to send multiple people into a portal if they both have a destination in common - sacrificing a star to save on time.
I also wasn't aware you could put multiple destinations onto one portal, so showing two empty slots above the portal could have made that clearer.
Otherwise, really solidly executed game! I especially love the art style and world-building. Well done :D
Awesome work! The mechanics are fun and it gets chaotic really quick. Some QoL thing I can think of is instead of dragging and dropping you could just select the portal and click on the destination combos. Also would be great if you could queue up the next destination in the portal so you're not just waiting around for the teleportation to get finished.
i really enjoyed this game, but at the very end i realized i could put more than one location, still really fun and cool, loved the artstyle :DD
Very cool game! Very fitting for the game jam and very satisfying to play. The dimension drawings are cute and easy to tell appart form each other o it is easy to choose the correct one.
I dont think I feel any difficulty increase in teh levels; the last one with 2 portals was hard because I had to wait for te portal to clear out but the next ones got very rowdy at teh end and hen you start the next one it seems calm in comparison. This is not a bad thing for a short jam game but idk if it is intentional.
Also, idk if the dimensions sorted in 3 groups is a good thing or a bad thing. I feel like having to mix all of them together (like, one customer ask for 3 ones but they all are from the first group, for example, and another one ask for 1 for the first group and 2 from the second one) will give more variety but it may also make thye game too chaotic. I dont know if it if thats something you already think about or not.
Very creative! Good job on the game design, the gameplay, art, sfx and music all fit together very well and it feels like a cohesive and thought out product. :) It could also be fun if more portals got added with even more customers the further you progressed to make it more chaotic!
Very cool, especially as a solo effort!
Although it started simple I enjoyed the pressure as more options kept being added. It also had a satisfying sense of mastery as you learnt where each modifyfier was, making it faster and easier to set up the portals.
