Really nice visuals and a cool phase-shift game mechanic.
One thing I noticed is that the jump feels a bit janky because the character moves forward in midair by default. It would be easier to control if the character only moved forward in the air when the movement key is held, without the extra momentum.
Regardless, I managed to get the cat back home. Good game!
Really cool music and art, the ambience is amazing. But the jumps feels weird sometimes...
The art and music are very nice, but the controls are a bit janky at times. But other than that, this was a pretty good game. Good job!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the playthrough again in the future here's the VOD timestamped to your game
Interesting game. I noticed a few issues with the character controller, like when I am moving in a direction while in the air, the game seems to act as if I am still holding that direction until I let go. It also seems that I can’t jump while next to a wall. Still a cool game!
Really nice gameplay ! It was really smooth, loved the little puzzle, never feel fully blocked, but felt rewarded. Hope to see a longer experience of it
Feel free to test our game
you have cat ingame, its doomed to succee
very enjoyable cat game
The phase-shift mechanic is really cool visually. And I love the little details like the grandfather clock going wild and the barrel suddenly having a face with water pouring out. Pixel art looks sharp, and the animations are smooth. There's a lot of care in the visuals.
Level design makes good use of the shifting too and plays into the platforming in interesting ways. The whole strange, slightly mysterious world fits the theme well. With some touching up on things like player momentum, this could feel amazing. But even so, it's a really good entry and would make a great full game!
Very fun game! The world switching mechanic is similar to something I did years ago (don't look it up it's incomplete and horrendous), but the barrel moving mechanic was a very nice touch as well!
The game itself was very on theme and very fun! Visuals/audio are fantastic as well! Only feedback is the player control script being a bit too sensitive. That last portion I hopped over that barrel about 15 times and almost raged.
First of all, you finished a game that looks great overall — and achieving that in just 7 days is impressive. Great job!
Things I liked:
The world you created and the art style are very beautiful — you can tell a lot of work went into them.
The core mechanic feels relatively original and is well implemented. I think it has a lot of potential if you continue developing it.
The music and SFX do their job well and fit nicely with the experience.
Constructive Feedback:
I think the main issue right now is the player movement script. It feels a bit difficult to control. The first thing I would suggest is adding a dynamic jump, where the jump height depends on how long the jump button is pressed.
I would also review the collision system, especially with the boxes. When the player stands next to them and jumps, they sometimes get stuck. You might want to adjust the box colliders or implement some form of corner correction to make movement feel smoother and more polished.
Amazing visual and clever game design, great job!
Great game with a cool concept and mechanic, and really nice art and atmosphere! The movement was kind of hard to control and it was sometimes hard to tell which objects I could jump on, but other than that everything was amazing! Nice work!
This is very cool, love everything about it.
I really liked this game, the art, music and mechanic were really good. The movement was a bit floaty and some collisions were a bit different to the textures, but apart from that, this was a great game!
Love the music and the art, they created a great atmosphere. The jumping/movement could use some more polish as it was a little floaty which made it sometimes hard to jump exactly where you wanted to go, but not enough to block playing it through. Was a nice experience overall!
Great game, both the worlds were so cool! Felt a bit like you were walking on ice, but it just made it a little more difficult. Great work!
I love the art style of this game, it was incredible
Really nice mechanic, sounds, visuals.... really really good overall
Remembered me of bokura if it was a singleplayer
Well done, good job!
Thank you for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. We put a lot of care into making this game the best it could be.
Your game is also very cool. I really enjoyed making the potions. I found it satisfying and relaxing.
Really nice mechanic, only found a few bugs but the game as a whole was enjoyable
Thank you for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it. We are fixing the bugs to make the game even better. Your feedback is encouraging us to continue developing this game.
Your game is very beautiful and cool. I liked the way we use the telescope, which is very similar to using a homemade telescope trying to find the moon or Saturn. Congratulations.
Good game! You can really tell how much work went into it!
