The art on this page looked nice and I played the game hoping to see more of it ... but there is nothing more. Anyway, short but sweet game.
Yup I wished I can create more content but unfortunately, for a 7 days jam that's my limit. I focused more on polishing the game instead of adding new stuff that is not stable for this jam as I feel like having less content but everything feels great is more important than having more content but everything is buggy. Anyways, thanks for playing the game!
A calm and relaxing fishing game, but each place you travel to becomes more bizarre. It also has upgradeable collections and an achievement system on top of that, which is pretty cool. Good job!
Thank you for taking your time to play the game! Really appreciate the feedback :D
Really good game! It was so calming. Loved the music in this game, very good gameplay also!
Thanks for the feedback :D
Its so Relaxing . I loved the pixel style and the music
Thanks for playing the game!
Fishing near a volcano, I've always dreamed of that :D Great job, I loved the music. There's even an achievement system!
Thanks for the lovely feedback!
Great game with a good, fun and addicting concept! Could be improved a lot though. It's pretty pointless to have all the upgrades upgrade the same thing, at least they all say they improve only rare fish chance. Maybe you didn't have enough time to do different upgrades? Because currently there is no strategy to buying, you just buy whatever is the cheapest. There could be something which reduces wait time for getting fishes, increasing fish value etc.
Also the aquarium could be improved a lot. The fishes generate barely enough money to make a profit, unless you play for a long time. Also I don't know what the point of the feeding is, the fishes are alive for 20h and no one is going to play for that long.
Those things would already make it a lot more fun to play the game for a long time. I wanted to try and max every upgrade but gave up cause I got too bored when nothing new happened. So more areas would also be great. And I wonder what the two secret achievements are, couldn't figure them out.
But yeah for only 7 days of time and working solo, this is really good, well done!
Thanks for giving out such constructive feedbacks! Yes I do agree that the gameplay will get pretty boring and monotonous very quickly since the game mechanics is very simple. I planned to expand it more on the gameplay and connect the equipment and fishing action more but due to time constraint, this is what i completed on time. I spent quite some time in making the aquarium system and also polishing the whole looks of the game so in the end i dont have much time to refine the overally gameplay of the game. Still, thanks a lot for playing and providing such thorough feedbacks though!
Very good fishing mechanic, simple to pick up, hard to master. The character was on the left of the screen which made me wonder if I could move to different places on the screen. Very good music as well.
Thanks for playing the game! Unfortunately, you cant move to anywhere at the moment... but having this idea might be cool tho! im adding this to my to do list, thanks for providing feedbacks!
Very chill! It made me want to collect every fish and location and upgrade!
Thanks for playing the game! :D
The game is pretty addictive and chill , make me remember a pokemon game where you play a magicarp pokemon trainer . My only complain is that the graphics are weird , I don't know if it's interpolation but sprites look you weird . But great Job for a solo dev !
Thanks for the feedback! Yup the character sprite originally is 48x48 pixels but i scale it bigger so it appears very blurry. Greatly appreciate you taking time playing the game!
Very good concept
Thanks for the feedback!
So good, congrats!
Thanks xD
As many others said! Really relaxing vibe. Good job
Thanks! :D
Really relaxing and polished experience. The aquarium system and achievements add a lot of charm and replay value, and it’s impressive how much content you packed into a jam game. Great vibe overall!
Thanks for taking your time and play the game! Really appreciate such warm feedback!
Never played such a relaxing jam game before! Beautiful music, did you play it yourself?
Hooked me in with the upgrade system (Sorry for pun) and enjoyedto see all the different kinds of fish you can catch! Cool game, really enjoyed it
Thanks for playing the game! I found the music on freesound.org which is royalty free!
So neat and relaxing! I thought the inclusion of an aquarium and achievements were pretty cool, I don't think I've seen achievments in any game for a jam before!
The background and fisherman pixel art are very nice despite being a little blurry ♡
Thanks for such lovely feedback! Yep having achievements and aquarium is a plus as i think they both play a big role for this game as aquarium provides the replayability while achievements provide the goals for the game. Once again, thanks for taking time playing the game!
You did such a great job for just a 7 day jam, congratulations!
Thanks for playing the game! I really went all out in this jam hahah 😅
Pretty relaxing game. I liked it a lot! Good job on this one!
Thanks for the warm feedback!
I really liked it, it was pretty relaxing, the music was beautiful and the backgrounds were amazing, the only issue was probably the fisherman who looked a bit blurry, but other than that, it's a great game, well done!
hahaha yep the fisherman indeed is a bit blurry since its 48 x 48 px and i had to scale it up so it doesnt looks so tiny. Anyways, thanks for taking your time to play the game! :D
Great game! I loved the collecting - once I realized the fish weren't just for completion, but that I could feed them, care for them, and earn income from them, I was hooked. You've put a lot of work into this. Well done!
Thanks for the lovely comment!
Lots of content for a game jam, good job!
Thanks for playing the game!
