How does the game fit the theme?
It is a strange vending machine with strange aliens ordering strange items in a strange place with strange mechanics. For them, it's all normal.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Background image, maaacks template, some audio (most were scratch). Some of the aliens are referenced/inspired but handdrawn by us.

How many people worked on the game?

I like the twist on pinball. The amount of controls was a bit much when I first started, but I got into a rhythm. Awesome game!

It's good there were options for sound/keybinds. The actual game was too busy, having to control flippers and the ufo, while getting the alien what it wants. I liked the pinball parts like the moving tentacles or the pipe, they were fun.

Love the pinball mechanics!

Well, that was unexpectedly hard. Controlling the UFO + flippers really put a strain on me probley needs to be simplified.  And being unable to see which items are already being delivred is a headacke

That was really cool! I really enjoyed the fact that i had to control both the UFO and the pinball hands at once, it added a lot of complexity to the game. the design also fits the theme super well

Very cool, as someone else said, more pinball games :)

The emoji characters do not get exported in Godot web exports, so you need to use a bitmap or SVG for those. It just renders as a box with the code point e.g. [0 4 3 1]

Very cool game ! Really like your artwork. Good job !

You’ve got something cool going on here! Maybe try simplifying the controls a bit handling the UFO and the flippers at the same time feels a little hectic.

With a small tweak or two, it could feel even smoother. I’d definitely recommend updating it after the jam!

Wow this makes me realize there should be more pinball games. Needs a little polish, but really cool concept! I'd love to see you go over it with some polish to take things to the next level. Great submission!

Thanks! Yeah, on top of polish there was a lot of things we wanted to put in but couldn't fit in time.I agree, there should be more pinball games!

Developer

Awww thank you! 🥹

Definitely made me wonder too why there aren't more pinball indie games out there, making this was a lot of fun!
