This is my new favourite game. 5 stars.
Nice game, a bit slow-paced, but interesting. Well done.
Well, this is really a very cool game! I liked the gameplay, and I was also amused that the enemies make a steve sound from minecraft when they take damage xD If only there was more speed for the goose or running, otherwise it walks very slowly.
The poor goose found himself in a horror scene! Good game!
This game is a vibe and the atmosphere is spot on. I stopped playing after level 3 because it was pretty god damn long (hypocrite right here),
but even if I (probably) missed out on something, I loved this submission. Great work!
Interesting idea
Funny little game — I really liked the separate control of the body and the neck ^^
As feedback, I’d say level 2 was a bit too dark for me. I’m not sure if that was intentional, since you could at least vaguely make out the walls — but only very faintly, so it felt more like guessing.
Otherwise, great job — keep it up!
I love the goose! sooo good and I love the way it honks!
The only thing I wish the game had was a sprint button cause going from one side to another after solving a puzzle on the other side of the map felt a little long. otherwise it was an excellent game!
Loved the goose animation and the music (did you make it yourself too? if so great work). The vibes are pretty cool for this theme. Only thing I would change is to have the goose move a bit faster, it was a bit of a chore sometimes after dying to have to walk back to where i was before dying
Very pleased to read that! Yes, all music i done by my self. Check out Sword Master Sword soundtrack, im proud of that too!
Interesting game, theses places are fore sure strange, poor goose, but I've managed to escape! I liked the visuals. I would've kill for a dash or something that would make me go faster and I found the physics kind of buggy when I was next to a wall/object. Great job for doing that all alone !
Loved the honk animation, and I had fun waving my goose neck around! I got stuck at the part where you have to honk and bounce it off of things - I couldn't get it to hit the third reflector. Is this bugged, or am I missing something?
Thank you for your comment! Game is 100% completable, that was tested on my grandma. Im sorry to say this, but its just skill issue
gooses are so cool so 10293783/10
Great work! I love the animations on the goose.
I really enjoyed the goose's neck haha, well implemented. It was a good bit of fun moving between the levels, I do wish there was more stuff to shoot early on.
Honk
Nice game! I love the extra effects of the goose head rotating around to hollow your mouse, and the 'honk' that emits when you honk! The second level was a bit dark, however, and the movement was a bit slow for my taste, especially since the levels were so long. But the concept was very unique!
So gooseful! Though I do wish movement speed could've been a little faster, it felt like there was a lot of empty space between moving from room to room. The second level does add that needed depth but I had a hard time seeing where the walls are due to the lack of clear contrast between the walls and floor.
Fun game! Really one of those games that makes the most out of simple mechanics. The first level left me wanting a bit more; more enemies, more things in the game to engage with. And then the second level delivered with new visuals, enemies, and unlockable doors.
One thing I would've liked to see would've been some camera smoothing: Right now, if you go from moving to one side to the other, the camera snaps, as it is not centered. Some smoothing on this would make that a bit less jarring.
Overall very well done though!
I like how the main character is implemented. The way his neck is animated is really impressive. Starting from today, H O N K letters are officially my most favorite projectiles in game industry! The general game design is also worth mentioning. It's great how all the threats are shown in safe(ish) environment before you actually have to face them. Good job! Although, I can relate to the previous comment. It actually is hard to see walls sometimes because the tiles are too dark.
Wonderful game, I couldn't stop playing it! The only problem - the tileset in the first few levels is very dark it's hard to see where the walls are. Also, the level at the end is pretty hard, I wasn't able to complete it. Other than that, very nice.
