Beatiful game and very a well polished experience. Although I never played Carcassone, I had much fun with this, so I might try it one day.
Some notes that I took:
- Great job of including a tutorial, it's really useful, especially with these kind of games. One minor thing I noticed that I began to place tiles before clicking the "Next" button and the highlights were off, because where it pointed out the terrain there was already a Town, same for the Location and Equipment. There was also a typo "You will always play from you_ most recently placed tile."
- The music blends well with the gameplay.
- The UI was very informative without being overcrowded. I probably could've figured it all out even without the tutorial. I'm not a fan of the font, though, I found it a bit hard to read.
- Beatiful pixel art and good choice of colors. I wish I could create hex tiles like this, I'd love to create hexmap games but the ugly tiles I manage to create are demotivating.
- I also liked the flavor texts of the different tiles very much, they very really short but managed to invoke the right vibes.
Followed you to keep an eye out for future releases. :)
