I think this game is really missing a visual way to understand if conditions are satisfied on furniture from a glance. I found myself hovering a lot on furniture and it could be fun to see how many conditions people can deal with at a time. I can see this becoming a banger cozy puzzle game. Incredible work.

I loved it so much, I didn't realize it and spent a couple of hours playing!

Very cute game! I miss variability between levels but for the rest I love it!

I love how polished this is and how cozy. The rotate action is a little confusing though, it's the only thing i disliked, congrats on making this!

Great game!

This game is so cozy yet challenging in puzzle.

Love the alien concept.

Excellent UI and visuals! Great job on this game.

I did have some trouble getting points for all my placements. I thought I was doing a good job based on the requirements but my points didn't reflect that. I would have benefited from some sort of visual validation or point counter before the visitor came.

Here are some of the concepts for the game <3

What an incredible polished game for a game jam! I liked the chill and cozy kind of vibe of the game as i can just take my time to please the visitors. Very interesting concept while also having such great looking art style. Very well executed and its definitely going into my collection for the jam. Great work!

We originally also thought of a furniture placement game as well, and decided not to do so. Turns out this is the right call since this game is just that good. The puzzles deisgn are simple to understand, yet it's actually very challanging to get five stars on any level. The idea is very interesting as well, and I hope the humans don't get too annoyed when they need to watch TV from outside the house :P.

Other things I like:

  • A consistent and good-looking art style
  • Cute alien
  • Good music choice
  • Game felt really polished, especially the grid placement system

Suggestions:

  • It would be nice to gradually introduce each furniture instead of starting with all at once. This should ease the frustration when learning how each furniture works and make the experience a lot smoother
  • Maybe adding a level number or progress bar to show how many levels are remaining? (Unless the game is actually endless)
  • This might make the game feel easier, but it would be nice to show (in real time) how the requirements are fulfilled or ignored

Anyway, this is super impressive. Well done on making this game!

Great idea, Great execution, Great game!
So satisfying to finally get a visitor approved 5 star room!

Designing a strange room feels as fun as fixing one 😉

This was a nice challenge, trying to figure out how best to conform to our alien overlords please the visitor. Feels very polished for a jam game, puzzles were fun, it would be nice to have some visual clarification on what exactly is "close" and "adjacent" as I kept getting rules ignored when I was pretty sure I followed them :o

Overall great effort, very fun!

Game is cool 4/5 TVs facing window!

I misinterpreted the list of objectives as things -to do- rather than things to avoid.  I really disappointed my visitor XD

I lost count of how many times I yelled ''IT'S BUGGED!'' at our programmers when I was the one who misunderstood the rules xD Thank you for playing! <3

This game was incredibly polished. It felt great placing items in the room. It was fun to try to figure out how to get it to work for both the human and alien. This was just a really good game, it felt like a published game. Very impressive for a jam! Well done!
