How does the game fit the theme?
The player is in a strange place with darkness all around and just an exit door on the horizon. Implying this is indoors when it's clearly outdoors!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the sounds. And parts of the character controller I got from another project that I develop myself.

great game really liked the ui and the overall environment matched the theme

very fun, i can see this becoming something bigger. it kinda reminds me of a VR game; the whole time i was thinking "this would be very fun in vr". one complaint is that when i try to download it, you didnt add the pck file, just the exe, so it doesnt work, and the browser is very laggy,

This was stupid fun. At first it looked like the particles coming off of the trees was blood (I still have my doubts). This was a perfectly executed example of what makes a game fun. Take a simple idea, and make it super polished. So weirdly unsettling. I was a bit worried what the axes would decide to do when they ran out of trees.
I also cleared the entire clearing haha. Easy 5/5

This was really fun. I loved the quiet terror of it, the spirit axes chopping away in the dark glow of the fire, a very strange place indeed.
This is a cool idea, I'm going to come back and play this one more when I don't have 1400 games to play :)
