I really enjoyed the opening art and felt compelled to protect the sweet little cub! Maneuvering around was a bit awkward but I still had much fun. Overall, it looks promising with a quick polish!

I had a very low framerate that, mixed with the textures of the game, made it quite hard to discern what was an obstacle and what was a bonus or a ramp, also the music was quite repetitive ^^'. Apart from that i did have a lot of fun and got to the end of your game, congrats on a great project :)

The art is great! and the game play is fun! It just needs that bit of polish. I had fun trying all kinds of daring tricks that ended up pooly XD I did play safe on my final run and made it to the end.

Visually very interesting. Not sure if the story or the gameplay are cozy, necessarily, but pretty fun regardless. I flew off the slide and couldn't continue after that.

Reading the description I realized that the food was edible. I did recognize them in game but since they were all blackened I tried to avoid them. For controls, I would probably try to loosen them up a bit. Now, when you release forward you kind of abruptly slow down. When skating, you want to feel the flow!

The art at the beginning is absolutely adorable! Although being stuck behind objects is a bit awkward, the gameplay feels awesome.

What a cool game! Love how the graphics look and how the skating tunnel feels. I agree with some other players that getting stuck behind an object feels a little awkward but I was able to jump over them in the end. Also would have loved a little distance meter or a count of how much food I was collecting as extra measure of how I was going! Love the intro art as well ^^

I love the art! The movement needed a little more polish as like others have said you can get a little stuck behind objects but other than that it's really well made.

Thank you so much!

Really cute and original art !
Love the concept of this game but it was unfortunately too easy to get stuck by the rocks and at some point, the bear was just going backwards.
Nice job overall ✨🐻‍❄️

Beautiful art in both 2D and 3D, that intro cutscene and tutorial is fantastic. The sliding game is fun but needs some more aim and feedback. Huge success for a 72 hour jam!

Developer

Thank you so much!

We were thinking of adding a fee more obstacles and checkpoints but had to reduce due to lack of time  T.T

Wow, cutscenes and tutorial very well designed! When I saw the cutscenes, I wasn't expecting a 3D game, so that was a nice surprise!
I felt like I was sliding, the controls are very well designed. You've done a great job, well done.

Thank you so much!

It was fun to slide in 3d tunnels and the cutscenes are very cute~ Would be nice to have a sound effect when eating the meat (◕ܫ◕)

Art is soo adorable! Music loop could be a bit longer, it gets repetitive quickly. Sliding mechanic feels good although it's easy to block on rocks

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah it's fairly easy to get stuck 😂 We're glad we fixed the player falling into the abyss

the 2D arts is magnificent ! except for the texture that i found a bit repetitive and hard to read, it's a really solid proposition and a cute little game ! (benji you're so talented)

Developer

Thank you so much!  I can see the texture being a bit too much, especially when you move fast! Thank you for your feedback!

i love the art.

Fun game! Physics was really good.

Things I liked

  • Art style, both 2d and 3d
  • The tutorial was cute and polished
  • Slidey physics on half-pipe is super fun
  • Smooth fps on web build

Things to improve

  • Levels kind of long/repetitive, no checkpoints
  • Collision is a bit jarring, hard to jump past
  • Collision should scale based on size of obstacle... those tiny pesky rocks!
  • Stamina was super generous which is fun, but could be also be interesting if stamina/meat was more limited and obstacles were more forgiving and meat was placed closer to them, temping players to go for it.

Best category: Enjoyment

Developer

Thank you!  We were thinking of adding several checkpoints in combination with story but ran out of time! It's a good point!

Loved the speed feeling on the slides, getting a bit repetitive at some point, the repetitive music during the level didn't help for sure.

The 2D art is really lovely!

Love the intro and its art :) .. was fun to play. good music. love the shading effect. Beary Good, lol.

First thing: I LOVE the 2D art in here (plus I'm a sucker for bears, so that's extra point in my book).

Gameplay is really enjoyable and smooth once I got used to it. Textures just feel a bit noisy, and controls get weird once you hit something and bear turns around. But other than that is really nice experience.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I did the 2D-part so I really appreciate it!

Submitted(+2)

Very cool! Reminds me of those sliding stages in old platformers. Those were always my favorite parts. Art and story are very cute as well.

Developer

Thanks so much! I always loved those too!

This game really reminds me of Temple Run, I'm not even sure why, but it just gives off those vibes. It's super addictive, and the looping soundtrack definitely helps. I bet it took you a while to get the physics right!

Developer

Oh yeah, we kept bugging through the slide xD
Thanks for playing!
