I finished it twice now, it's really great! I love the concept, the visuals and the writing, it's all very well done.
A few notes:
- It's pretty hard to understand how to do stuff. I didn't know I had to select the items obviously, but also the minigame where you had to click and hold on the pentagrams I could not figure out at all for my first playthrough. On my second go I tried to burn them all instead, and got a different ending result, but I'm not sure if that was why? (I didn't get stuck on the mirror mini-game because I read a comment explaining that's what you had to do, but I probably would have been confused otherwise)
- The painting with the 3D platforming was fairly annoying due to the lack of definition on the angles of the structures, I died more than once not realizing something was higher than I thought
- The walking speed is fine at first, but it really feels sluggish after a while, especially when replaying. I wanted to try doing the mirror and brush alternating depending on what sounded like the ghost wanted from its dialogue, thinking maybe that would do something, but I kind of didn't want to do a third run because of that
- I think the pentagram mini-game instantiates and adds the objects you need to click on to the scene before moving it a random place on your screen, because I would see them pop for a frame before they'd get placed correctly
But other than that it's honestly a very good game, thank you so much for making it! And good luck with the jam
