Ranked from 15 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
How does the game fit the theme?
The game takes place inside of some fractal geometry, fractals are inherently strange, especially 3D ones.
Controls - Mouse/Keyboard or Controller
Move - WASD / Left Analog Stick
Camera - Mouse / Right Analog Stick
Jump - Space / Lower Face Button
Use Thruster - Jump while airborne
Pause - P / Top Face Button (pause menu not navigable by controller)
The scalability of this build is locked to 'Epic' scale for the highest possible graphics settings. I have added menu options to lower this but was not able to upload the fix in time before the files were locked for the jam. If anyone is struggling with performance issues I have linked the updated version below which I will be uploading here on the Itch page once the jam is over.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The spaceship set from the cinematic intro scene was made using old modular sci-fi assets - https://www.fab.com/listings/86913335-3c75-42bf-8404-54fe9d9d7396

I liked the atmosphere and the music, the audio side is nicely handled.
The concept is simple but works well.
Great effort, especially as a solo developer.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on our game as well if you get the chance.
Love the feel and atmosphere of it. The lower gravity jumping takes some getting used to. When I finally managed to get to a terminal, I was locked into a small unescapable room and had to restart the game. Thats' when I found out the game changes where you start, which was helpful. My biggest issue is the lack of contrast, so it is hard to see where there is floor, and where there isn't. I got terminals and I'll be back for the rest.
Neat game! The moon gravity made it quite difficult! The aesthetic is quite nice actually! Nice job!
I know it was in space, but the floaty jumping felt like it made some of the platforming hard than it needed to. Also the thruster while jumping basically did nothing if you were falling too fast lol. Loved the music, really fit the aesthetics of the game and quite enjoyed the experience.
I'm sorry to say I'm not exactly sure how to proceed very quickly into it. I'd see terminals and try to go to there, but always barely fall short in terms of height. It's pretty hard to locate yourself and know where to go, and the monochrome environment and lack of clear perspective makes it difficult too.
Good job though! Thank your for your submission
What a game! I loved everything : the atmosphere, the music, and the gameplay. Congratulations. Truly.
I see you made your game for controller too, that’s great to see. I’m currently looking for feedback from players using a controller, so if you’d like to try mine with a gamepad, I’d really appreciate it :)
Wow this really felt like an alien artifact! I never seen something quite like it - and the changes for the cube made it even more surreal
The purple was not easy on the eyes, and the controls were a bit awkward - but the game is forgiving enough that I found all terminals. From some reason I couldn't get to the top after that, I guess the cube finally defeated me
Very ambitious project for one person, amazing job
Glad you liked it. The ending can be a bit of a positive feedback loop, the longer you take or more times you fail the harder it gets until it becomes imposible
Great game! The platforming was a bit awkward at times, but the atmosphere and changes to the environment over time more than made up for it! I also really liked that you added some exposition, even if the cutscenes were a bit janky.
Thanks, cut scenes are not my strong suit so I always put them off till late in the process.
Very cool game! congratz on making it
I really liked the character design! And the idea of platforming challenges on a massive exploded cube was really interesting. The vibe comes through really well. I think at some point I got stuck and I wasn't quite sure whether the cube was still behaving as intended or not, but my understand is it changes with every active terminal. Really cool and surreal game though, I may give it another try at a later point!
Thanks for checking it out, I'm glad you liked it. The cube doesn't change state with every terminal, there are a total of 3 state changes triggered after certain terminal numbers are reached.
The visual style and atmosphere are great! Looks like a menger sponge :) Enjoyed the storytelling as well.
