How does the game fit the theme?
DING explores the idea that a place can become strange not through chaos, but through subtle change.

Each floor appears normal at first until something feels slightly wrong. A moved object. A different number. A detail that doesn’t match your memory. The player must observe carefully and decide whether the floor is normal or anomalous.

Awesome game, reminds me of exit 8 except it is Ding 7

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!! We’ll take the Exit 8 comparison as a huge compliment ^-^

Developer(+1)

Thank you sm ur comment means a lot to us🩷

Super good, especially for a week of work! I liked how the environment changes weren't anomalies, giving each actual anomaly a different feel, plus it fit well with the theme. Amazing work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! That seriously means a lot to us💕

I’m glad that u like anomaly design we wanted them to have personality rather than just small random swaps.

Submitted(+2)

Simple concept, very well executed! Took me a moment to figure out going back to the first elevator is the "anomaly" one, especially since I was expecting mostly minor items switched around haha. That's also why the alien really got me! The atmosphere's incredible, well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you I’m really glad you enjoyed it😁 and mission accomplished with the alien I guess lol

Developer(+2)

Thank you!

Nice game overall, I had a good time with it.

It could maybe use a bit more challenge, but it’s still an enjoyable experience.
Good job❕❕
If you’re checking out other entries, feel free to try our game too.

Developer(+2)

Thank you!! So glad you had fun with it!

Noted on the challenge, maybe we need to make it a little harder next time  ^-^
We’ll definitely try your game too

Cool, I love these mindfulness games. I really liked. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We’re really happy you enjoyed it :)

That was a spooky game! At first I was looking for tiny details, but then the frozen legs... cool (punintended). Eventually, I made it to the top.
Can you take a look at my game too?

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!! The frozen legs were definitely meant to catch you off guard, glad you made it to the top!

We’ll definitely take a look at your game as well

Something I love: I love the menu music and how you started the game was super smooth! I love how simple this was and even though it was simple, I was INVESTED lol. I love how whoever's desktop that is got some elite ball videogames

Things that frustrated me: that there wasn't more lol

Bugs I found: None! :)

Overall: I really liked it! Fun game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your kind words! This really means a lot to us. We’re so happy you enjoyed it!

Had a lot of fun playing! Spot the difference isn't my forte but I manage to beat it after a few tries. Love all the weather effects, makes for a very eerie environment. My heart dropped when I saw body parts in the vending machine, good job!

Developer(+2)

Thank you!! Huge respect for beating it, especially if spot the difference isn’t your thing

We’re so glad you liked the atmosphere and weather effects. And for the vending machine surprise it was one of our favorites too :)

Submitted(+2)

This was so fun, loved the spooky atmosphere, especially the note on the table (the xenomorph was funny too, but the note made me feel like things were about to get much worse suddenly). I sometimes struggled with what counted as an anomaly and what was just a weird day at the office, but that was part of the charm :)

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! We’re really glad the subtle details like the note stood out to you.

That ambiguity between anomaly and normal is something we wanted to experiment with. so we’re happy it felt charming rather than frustrating :)

Submitted(+2)

Really cool! I think it would benefit a lot from a more centralized office room, since walking through the same room can get pretty boring. Other than that it was a lot of fun, though! there are a lot of objects to keep track of, so it gets pretty tough to tell differences between them when you're deeper into the game. Got jumpscared pretty bad as well by a big xenomorph looking guy who I will now name Jeff

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to share it
That’s a great point about the layout and object density, we’ll definitely consider that for future improvements.

And we’re so sorry about Jeff… or maybe not ;D

Visuals:

1 ... simple camera main menu movement would made game look so much better (it gives motion)

2 ... elements in game fits together

3 ... main -> game transition: this looks like lerp rotation -> try different interpolations or pass <Unity custom Curve> to interpolate this.

..... reason is that currently it looks little wooden

4 ... outside the window -> dark or image in distance would fix problem of seeing only plane color

5 ... this dude in fog scared **** out of me -> would be funny if guy started running after me & if I get caugch -> game resets

Controls

1 ... responsive -> very good

Design

1 ... going in elevator & out then scene changes completely its looks strange but why this guy here on chair is not surprised his legs are in water in next moment?

2 ... me been able to interact with env like: kicking chairs, moving some small objects would give a lot of the weight (currently most of elements are static).

3 ... small scope, reusing scene with min difference -> very good

Sound

1 ... fits theme very well

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such detailed feedback we really appreciate it💕we totally agree about the main menu camera movement adding subtle motion would definitely make it feel more alive and about the fog guy chasing the player that actually sounds like a fun twist we might doing it in a future updates!

we really happy to hear controls felt responsive that was important to us😁

Thanks again for the honest feedback it really helps us improve as a developer
