I had fun with / really like the idea of this, and I think you should continue working on the concept!

Right now the ground characteristics thing is quite confusing to me, I'm sure this would be cleaned up by a more comprehensive tutorial.

Getting the results could have some kind of mechanical delay in my view, right now it feels pretty anticlimactic. One suggestion I'd make is adding some kind of dice roll or something between the expedition and results section that can add bonuses or influence the result. I don't exactly know the specifics, but just adding something between those parts would really help with pacing and the weight of each expedition.

Thanks for sharing this, had fun with it :)

Thank you very much for the feedback, I really appreciate it, and yes, the game a lot more polishing and balancing, I'm glad you had fun playing it 🫑

Little bit of a learning curve but i really like this idea

Thank you for trying out the game πŸ™

Interesting concept and idea. It would have been cool to have some visuals with little pixel art battles like in 9 Kings. Anyway good job !

Developer

This is an interesting idea, the game definitely need some more juice , thank you very much for the feedback πŸ™

Nice Game! Not gonna lie, it's a little bit intimidating seeing all there buttons and texts at the start. But everything works out if you give it a minute or 2 to read around. The idea is cool, in fact, is kinda similar to my team's. Definitely gonna check it out in the future, so you better not give up on this project :)

Developer

Thank you for playing the game, I don't plan on giving up on the project just yet, but it need a complete rework from the ground up. Thnaks again!

This looks like a really interesting strategy game. The idea of sending different types of mercenary parties to investigate abnormal areas and then using the results to determine the ground’s characteristics is pretty unique. It definitely has room to grow. Cool concept overall!

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback, I'm really glad you think so πŸ™

Really interesting concept here. The idea of sending out parties and trying to figure out the properties of these strange places based on the results is pretty unique.

It took a little bit to fully understand what was going on, but once it started to click it became a neat little strategy loop. Cool idea overall, nice work!

Maybe its just me, but it took me awhile to understand the mechanics. It is a cool idea, and even just a basic tutorial would definitely add a great deal to it. But overall, a lot of effort clearly went into this, great work!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words, and you are right, the current tutorial was definitely not enough to understand the game's mechanics.

Thank you for playing the game and fort the review.

Cool! A little of confuse at first, after figure it out, it's start to get cool!

The Concept is really cool! Using different team and the their ability to guess the ground characteristic, earn the money and start the next round again,
but when I'm playing it, I found a problem which the naming itself a bit easy to guess its characteristic actually Haha, sometime I don't need to send any party and able to guess the right guess already, but totally understand able for such short time!

Anyway, love the concept! Grate Work!

Oddly enough, some of my friends didn't even notice the grounds' names with how bad the UI is lol , but you are right; a lot of balancing, be it the names, the characterstics and the troops, are needed.

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback.

Very interesting concept!

Sadly I am not able to get the elements from teh results; I dont knowe exactl how does each element interfere with the mercenaries (I know each kind of mercenary has its strenghts and weakness but idk the exact description of each element).

I think if its better explained, this mechanic can be really cool

Developer(+1)

You are right, the game as for now need a lot of balancing, but with one week (and not getting an idea until the third day lol) I didn't have much time for proper worldbuilding.
Thank you for playing the game, really appreciate it!!

I was a little confused at first, but I eventually got it! Very interesting concept

Yeah, a proper turorial is much needed, Thank you for checking the game πŸ™πŸ™

It took a me a few moments but its really fun when you learn it. I absolutely can see this on steam indie games! Great job :D how long did it take you to come up with the process?

Please can you review our game if you get a chance? Thank you!

Developer

Thank you for the kind comment, really appreciate it. Just thinking about a proper release make my head spin with all that needs to be done hhh.
And I already played and rated your game, that was a fun one, good job!!

This is a really cool idea that I think could be fleshed out into something truly amazing. It's already a good game once you figure out the mechanics but obviously a more in-depth tutorial would be better for a game like this since it's not very intuitive. But I really love the concept and I can tell a lot of work went into this. Amazing job!

Developer(+1)

Yes, you are right, an in depth tutorial and/or simpler UIs are necessary for this kind of games.

Thank you for the feedback πŸ™πŸ™

After some trial and error I understood the game better. My recommendations would be a tutorial of some kind and have people playtest it for you to see where your strengths and weaknesses lie. I really like the system and strategy behind it but in my opinion the thing holding this game back is the lack of clarity for the player. Good job overall tho :)

Developer(+1)

You are absolutly correct, with the UI being that cumbersome, a proper and clear tutorial should have been a priority. Thank you very much for the feedback πŸ™

Submitted(+1)

I am not clever enough to understand what's happening, but when I see green numbers and no red numbers - that means I'm doing good

Very systematic, much strategy

Developer

Hhhh, that's on me honestly, I didn't have the time to do a proper tutorial, which is crutial for these kind of game. Thank you very much for playing the game, if you have any feedback, I would really appreciate it  πŸ™

After some trial and error I was able to help lead some successful raids! Many brave warriors were lost at the hands of the Armored Knights!

Developer(+1)

Wow, I really didn't expect anyone to find my game, let alone play it, thank you so much πŸ™. If you have the time, I’d really appreciate your honest feedback and criticism, what you think should be added, improved, or changed, and onestly, anything at all would mean a lot to me.
