Very interesting concept and great interpretation of the theme! Had fun playing through the story and finding the clues. Great work!
well... this was a bit disturbing..
overall, a nice experience! I loved it a lot, brings me a lot of rpg maker stories vibe. not much to the gameplay but the one door that leads to different rooms every time you go through it is very cool!! the puzzles were very straightforward and easy but I like the fact that you need to read the pages in order to progress, weaving gameplay and story, an absolutely smart decision in game design. beautiful job!!
Thank you very much for the feedback!
This is really cool. The visuals are really well done and I like how the lighting is used. It's a puzzle game on the easier side, but it doesn't need to be hard or brain-twisting. I also liked how the key info is bold in the books, it makes looking for them much quicker. Great job! Here's your 20th rating!
Yeah! Thank you, we finally got our 20 rates! <3
Cool that you liked it.
hello there, i really like this game. the story is surreal and interesting (my cup of tea) and the music with the visuals, mainly the post-processing, just makes damn good atmosphere i want to dive in even more. the puzzles were simple and i can imagine something more mentally demanding in the future. also i think it’d suit the game better if the items were collectible with interaction. i’d love to see this game finished and published so i could buy it and enjoy the story in some longer format with this amazing atmosphere you got here.
thank you for this game and i wish you best of luck with the development, hope to see it published sometimes
also feel free to try our game, we need only 1 vote to 20 :D
Thank you very much for your feedback!
Jibé did a great job with the story. Glad you liked it!
This is quite a nice and short game, the story is really good, and I like how it slowly hinted what actually happened when exploring the strange world. The puzzles are a bit on the easy side with the helpful bolded text in each of the readings, and I would prefer more complex interactions to make the game require a bit more thinking. But overall the game is nicely built, and I do have a nice time playing.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive feedback.
Your suggestions are relevant, and we will likely be releasing a new version soon.
Quite nice art and the melancholy music really fit the vibe and story. Great job with the story/world building, that's definitely something that is not expected in most jam games and was a nice surprise to see!
Thanks a lot!
The pixel art is really pretty, and the candle lighting in particular looks awesome; it adds so much mood. The music fits perfectly too, that melancholy vibe fits the world and story really well. I also loved the little idle animation details on the character (coat/hair moving a bit), small thing, but makes it feel way more alive.
The one-door-different-room concept is such a smart jam idea. It lets you do a lot of interesting puzzle/exploration without needing huge spaces, and it never felt like pointless backtracking. The little text hints were a great touch as well (the bolding of keywords) , super helpful without being hand-holdy.
There is a lot of atmosphere in this game. Felt really polished and well put together.
Very nice. Revealing the items gradually was a nice touch rather than walk into the room, collect everything, then wonder what to do with it. Initially I thought going through the door would return me to the previous room which I'd already searched so didn't try that option for a while.
Thanks for your feedback. A single door is what makes this place mysterious, hehe.
I like the story and the atmosphere in this game.
I think the music fits really well and is nice to listen to
Its a nice short game and the assets used are a good choice
I like that items u needed where highlighted in the book it would be nice if they were also somewhat highlighted in the game as they were a bit easy to miss
I also think this would be good as a bigger scale puzzle with more in it than go to room pick up object go to room place object
All in all it was a fun experience.
Good job!
Thank you! We will improve the interaction with the items, as well as the sound design around them.
I really like when games have narrative elements and manage to tell a story in-game. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the controls and transitions felt clean and well done. The level design is solid too, with plenty of interesting details.
Overall, it was an entertaining experience, great work!
Thanks!
I loved when game can tell story i loved it truely
Thanks! Jibé did a great job on the lore!
Dark vibes! The worldbuilding was good--it had a bit of that classic RPG maker game-style. Nicely executed!
Thanks!
I like the visual and the story of the game. Having the important words / clues highlighted in bold font does really tell the players what they are going to do next but it can be better if when you interact with those interactable, the character will talk to himself like: "There are holes in the skull, i wonder what i can put in". Something like this to tell the players that they need to find something to put in the holes. Anyways, good job!
Thanks for your feedback. Yep, some interactions need improvement to make the game a little more fun.
Great art!
Thanks, we chose some good assets, haha.
Small, but cool game, I had an hard time at first because I didn't notice the skirt right away, but, once I got it, it was pretty fun and intresting, also , amazing graphict. Nice job!
Thanks for your feedback. We will improve that later by adding some small animations, I think.
Great atmosphere! Sadly, it seems I cannot pick up any items except the key in the first room, so I couldn’t proceed.
Oh, sorry about that! Normally, the object in the second room (the eye) is accessible if you stick close to the table.
The atmosphere is realy nice, love the simple music but i didn't understant why i had to cut open this baby
Hello,
It is indeed a bit unusual, but it's related to the game's lore. It's a strange, particularly cruel world where a portion of the population is slaughtered daily to feed the elite. Their rapid regeneration provides a virtually endless source of food.
Very nice atmosphere!
Thanks ! We tried to match the atmosphere with the story.
It definitely does!
Very nice artwork and music ! :)
Thanks, the assets are cool indeed haha
Very cool! Love this concept and the aesthetic! You should check out our game if you want!
Thanks for the feedback.
I was able to play yours, but unfortunately I couldn't leave a rating.
