I bet it did take a while to draw ;)
Im a fan of all the techy bits
Interesting game! Didnt really understood what to do in the begining, maybe i just shouldnt be playing at night haha :,D Cool gameand such a grat work with the visuals!
Cool premise! I made it to the end, but I agree with other comments here in saying that it was difficult to figure out what to do. For most of my playtime I thought I was always doing something wrong. Still, it was a neat experience!
First of all, congratulations on your first game jam project! The visuals are great and I really like the sfx and music. I was able to reach the end, but the puzzles were a bit unintuitive. Nevertheless, this is a great first entry!
Very nice for a first game! I like the idea of having different puzzles reveal themselves in the same room. I got stuck on the light puzzle sadly :/
Game looks awesome, a little confused about the premise but its fun.
8.5/10 :D
Thank you for playing my game!
Played the game multiple times, maybe it's just me that's dumb but I really could not figure out what to do😅
I have observed each item, did each interaction in every order and gone through the doors multiple times, at one moment I think I have beaten a puzzle but I still was pretty confused on why that's happened, and then I lost. I like the idea of the dialogues guiding you in the right direction and changing every time, but I still couldn't figure out what I had to do T_T
Still was pretty interesting ambience and concept!
The visuals were pretty nice, as well as the insanity effect!
Maybe I will return to this at a later date? For now, I'd only say it lacks a bit in clarity outside of the dialogues.
Thanks for the input and for playing my game. Sorry that the game was too confusing, I realized too late into the jam that the puzzles were overly complicated.
This looked really good, especially for a first jam. The pixel art is clean and consistent, and those ceiling light effects added a lot to the atmosphere. Small detail, but it made the corridor feel alive instead of flat.
I also really liked the sanity mechanic visually. Watching the environment subtly shift as the doctor loses his sanity was a cool touch. It definitely created a feeling of unease, especially when I was trying to rush. That pressure worked well with the theme.
You nailed the mood on this one, strong presentation and a solid first jam entry
Thanks for the words and for playing my game, glad you enjoyed it!
You nailed the vibe of a strange place! I think the visuals and music fit really well together. I couldn't play much because the effects made me sick easily, but I got up to the part where the lights started flickering. I wish there was a bit more of a hook/intrigue to the story, but I was really curious and would've played more if I could. I'm glad I got to check this out, thanks for submitting it!
Thank you for playing my game and for the kind words. I’m sorry you felt sick while playing it. I actually decreased the shader intensity before submitting, so it was worse before lol. If it makes you feel better, the light flickering part meant you were at the last puzzle :)
Visual are very cool, but I was just stuck at the first puzzle couldn't pass that door
Thanks for the input and for playing my game. I am sorry that the puzzles were very confusing. I did not have someone try them before submitting the game, which was a big mistake.
I might be stupid bc I had no idea what to do... but, it looks soooo cuuute!!!!! I love the pixel art! I wanna headpat the widdle scientist :D srry 4 being dumb TT__TT
Thanks for the words! I was actually very worried about the art, since I am a dev with no art experience. Don't worry about the puzzles, I did not have anyone to play them before submission and realized the game turned out very confusing actually. Thanks for playing.
Hints trough dialogue are nice. AD movement would be nice :)
Thanks for the input, I'll definitely remember adding WASD input next time. Thanks for playing my game!
Liked the idea but i wish there was WASD movement as well
Thanks for the input, since this was my first jam, having multiple inputs is something I did not think about. Thanks for playing my game!
The visuals are really beautiful and giving hints through dialogue is very cool!
Thank you for playing my game!
I like the visual style of the game. This lab is indeed strange and puzzling.
Thanks for playing my game!
Fantastic Visuals, good to see a puzzle game. One of my favorite genres!
Thanks for playing my game!
I got so confused oh my ;-;
definitely the stangest game I've played so far in this jam (in a great way)
Well, I'll count this as a win lol. Thanks for playing my game!
Cool art! I think it needs a bit more explanation. Also congrats on your first jam project!
Thank you for playing my game and for the input! I believe that my approach to not explain things too directly lead to a very confusing gameplay.
I like the pixel art, but I don't fully get the 2 and 3 puzzle, I just went through a random door and I got to the next level
fair enough, after playing the game myself I thought they would be confusing, especially since I did not add UI on purpose. However, the deadline was kicking in and there was no coming back. Thanks for playing it!
I think you really hit the theme with this one, the visuals and gameplay definitely tie together well! The puzzles were decent although a little tedious at points.
Thank you for the input and I completely understand the puzzles not being engaging enough. This was my first game jam and I tried to have the scope/puzzles as simple as possible and I barely made it in time lol.
