This is quite unexpected. I am expecting some kind of twist (by gut feeling), but I never imagined it would be that big of a twist. Really like the whole storyline of the game, and I think the final day is done really well! Gameplay-wise, it's really simple, and I would hope the game would be a bit more challanging, but I think that's just personal preference. Art is really nice too, with the scribbles looking really menacing and scary. Overall, this is a game that I quite enjoy playing, so well done!
Other things I like:
- Different sound effects for different items
- Icon drawn onto the bin as well. Nice environmental storytelling
- Excellent diegetic UI, e.g. the paper and stamp for the day-end menu, the contract etc.
Suggestions:
- Maybe tying the ending code to the item so the player needs to choose between the good end and cash?.
- More items the better, so to make the game more challanging
- Consider doing storytelling too with the items
- I will suggest letting the player type in the keycode instead of only a cutscene, just to let the code makes a bit more sense
