The shotgun part made me laugh. I love little random bits like that. The Angry Birds reference in the 3rd level was great. I absolutely want this expanded and filled out with more levels. Keep them on the same scale, but maybe add things. For example, a Canadian penguin who can cheat to reference the Olympics drama. The contrast of us, the heroic murdering penguin being round with the others being rectangles was a great choice.
I greatly appreciate the review! It would be a fun game to expand on as a sort of angry birds with a shotgun vibe ha

Pretty "cool" idea! I like idea of planning out your moves, but being able to use the shotgun both for killing the other penguins AND correcting your movement! At first, I didn't realize Q and E adjusted launch speed (don't ask why I thought it was a video quality setting), so I ended up mostly playing with just launch speed 3. It created a fun challenge on level 3 with the gap, because I had to use a shot-gun shot the opposite way to get enough force to cross the gap, and even though that's likely not the intended way, it was super fun! My only gripes are that level 2 can mostly just be trivialized from a distance because there's no walls to stop you from just camping the initial side of the level, and that there is no option to more quickly start a turn (though this could just be my own impatience!) Very good game overall!
Ah thats awesome i was wondering how people would play stage 3
Thats a good idea to help with stage 2, I could make the floating ice blocks giant pieces that act as a wall and a floor (maybe you have to wait for them to lower to cross) and stagger them.
Happy to hear you used the shotgun to correct movement! So glad you enjoyed it, was definitely a fun mechanic to add
I appreciate the comments and feedback Plide!
Interesting idea, but why I'm doing penguin massacre?
Ah thank you! So i had to think of a way to give the player a little more freedom. Sort of "breaking a mechanic with a mechanic" the shotgun over rules the wait and launch, wait and launch pretty repetitive and boring mechanic. With the shotgun, the player has more freedom in deciding how fast/slow they want to play.
I was expecting some lore, but ok.
yep
