What's the strangest/funniest bug you encountered while making your game?
When building and running my game for earlier tests, the game screen kept getting covered up in my canvas' solid colour the moment those builds were completed! To be honest, I've never seen this happen before.

Don't forget to add the title of the jam somewhere in your submission page!
Oh of course, absolutely.

A fun platformer with difficult bosses, I like it! I have no real complains about this other then a little lack of polish like the fireballs being backwards or you still reciving knockback dispite having invincblity frames and how It doesn't really follow the constraint. But hey that still doesn't stop this from being a pretty cool game.

Thanks for the feedback, DeadPlant. I will definitely try and clean up the invincibility frames in future updates. For the constraint of being stuck in a loop, I was trying to give the impression of being stuck in a corrupted loop, caused by the Corruptocloud. I will try and expand on this idea through those updates though and make this a bit more in line with the constraint (like slightly hindering your progress while you are under the loop).

I think you 100% nailed the SNES style graphics! This really looks, feels and sounds like a SNES game to me! I was able to get to the boss, but not defeat it. The platform section being so easy and taking as long as it did to travel through did make getting back to the boss a bit of a chore (perhaps a common issue for games in this jam using a 'restart' style mechanic to address the constraint, mine included!). I also have no idea how close I got to defeating the boss - a health bar might have motivated me to keep trying! I think you've got some good foundations to keep building a fun retro-style platformer here. :)

Hi karnagegames! Thanks so much for the feedback - I'm glad the SNES-style graphics turned out well for you! I'll definitely take your suggestions about the replayability and adding a boss health bar into account as I continue expanding the game.

Aw man I really like the artstyle and look of how it plays. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to start it. I have my Xbox controller connected. I hit every button on it, then hit escape , A , D, Space, E, left mouse button and enter on kbm.

Thanks for the feedback, Guac GameDev LLC! The mouse can be used to hover over and click on the text buttons such as start on the title screen and continue/quit on the game over screen. I'll make this clearer on the game page, and in the game itself through future updates. Thanks for pointing that out!

I loved the artstyle of the game. Nevertheless, I wasn't able to beat it! The main character seems to have no means to attack and I can't see anything to be unlocked.

Hi Motoluigi! Right now, you can launch fire with E, and I'll be expanding the combat and building on this demo, while adding unlockable elements in future updates. Thank you for the feedback!
