From my experience, it might be an issue with the switches in the Download Panel that you use before adjusting the frequency and polarity. When both switches are turned on at the same time, you can hear a static buzzing sound. In earlier versions of Voices of the Void, there wasn’t really a need to turn those switches off, so I used to keep them on. But in the latest version, the noise has become much more noticeable and irritating.
