Well-executed idea. I’m not usually a fan of this genre, but it was nice to play.

The pixel art is so good!

Interesting concept and nice voice acting.

The visuals are good as well.
It might be worth adding more ways to spend money after unlocking all upgrades, so it stays meaningful.
Solid entry overall. 💚
If you’re checking out other entries, feel free to try our game as well.

Awesome graphics and my dream ship mehachanics, but okay

Sometime I'm to solute some of my gamedev dreams.. Also pixel art amazing:p

Gameplay is solid, I liked the mechanics.

very nice art! I loved it!

The music is fun and catchy! For the audio effects -I liked them, I would maybe mix them a little lower and add a tiny reverb - just to make them sit a little better and mix in with the environment. Very cool idea and the boss battle was hard!

Kiitos!

Amazing job! I really loved the game, and the voice acting for the pirates was spot on! My only gripe is that the ship's turning felt a bit slow and sluggish—it was a little frustrating

if you have some free time,I'd be happy if you tried my game.

Hi, thank you for the kind comments, glad to have you here, Captain =)

Nice game! The point-and-click mechanics are simple but effective, and the visual quality is really solid. The voice effects are a nice touch, and the upgrade system adds extra depth.

I found that the most effective way to deal with the pufferfish is to shoot it while getting close, since that helps push it back and control the space better.

Very well done overall.

That was great! A large amount of work done here, even though the mechanics are simple, I spent a lot of time playing and just wanted to finish it. Love the visuals. Only minor issue was, that spitted balls were following me even after I respawned in the island, so it happened several times that I sailed from the island and got hit by the ball. Nevertheles, I had a lot of fun!

Pretty fun game, I really like the graphics, and I like how there are actual voicelines. Well done!

A very high quality game! I think the visuals are very charming and the premise is simple but quite direct. I like getting immediately into the action and while at first i was a little confused about turning back or going forth but after it clicked i understood the gameplay which was quite fun! Choosing the routes and the differences in challenges made the experience very fresh. I almost can't believe this was done in a week!

I LOVED THIS!!!

This is easily one of the most ambitious and polished entries I’ve played. The art style is fantastic, the shading and sprites look great, and the pirate theme is executed with a ton of personality. The voice acting was a huge surprise and I LOVED IT!!! it adds so much of a vibe to the game!!!. The sound design in general is strong !!!

The upgrade loop is satisfying. Unlocking cannons, improving your ship, and preparing for bigger fights gives that nice incremental feeling. The Kraken fight is a cool highlight, and the overall progression system is very well thought out for a one-week jam.

That said, the early game can feel a bit punishing before you get a few upgrades. Some enemies (puffer fish especially) feel overtuned, and certain projectiles lingering too long can be frustrating. A slightly smoother difficulty curve or a bit more room to recover when overwhelmed would make it even better. I also ran into a couple minor bugs (like collision issues during the Kraken fight), but nothing that takes away from the experience overall.

For a 1-week project, this is REALLY well executed. You should be proud of this one.
Nice work!

It's very interesting take on a theme, voice acting is great, unfortunately on my first playthrough I got caught in a trap with 3 octopuses, though the gameplay is very enjoyable, and every gear of the game is on top, sounds, and visuals complements nice gameplay!

LOL these sound effects are killing me XD

Wow, impressive to get a 5 person team together for a 1-week game jam! You guys did a good job pulling this off. The music and art was really fun. The skill tree was a great way to manage progression.  Nice game :)

IT'S AMAZING BRO, BEST GAME I PLAYED SO FAR.

Loved it! It was an amazing experience, and I would definitely sit down again to play. I HATE puffer fish so much. I get ptsd when I hear the crew say, "I see a puffer fish". There is this tiny bug in the Kraken battle. The first rock you pass, if you shoot, I'm guessing your cannon balls hit its collider, then yeah. No cannonball :( overall great experience. You all should be very proud.

Well done, Captain.

I am so happy you enjoyed the game.

I have a physical reaction to seeing the Pufferfish.

Thank you for playing.

This was the most enjoyable game in the jam thus far. The upgrade loop is very rewarding. A big con is that you cannot really defend yourself or flee when you're in hot water. The audio was cool, but the SFX of the tentacle dying was overly distorted

Really cool game! Everything is well made, and I enjoyed the upgrade tree. My only complaint was that it was a little slow, but other than that, amazing work for just 7 days.
