  • Really fun flavor and incorporation into the timescape as a setting. Mechanically, this ancestry felt a little all over the place and I wasn't sure what some of the traits were meant to communicate — like, why do *I* get a bane on rolls in a negotiation if the NPC's interest is low? What does that have to do with hunger? Advanced Repair is probably only worth 2 points, and Flesh Eating is incredibly strong, probably too strong even at 2 without heavy additional limitations; free healing is really good in this game. Otherworldly Terror is a fun idea but far too limited in scope and it's unusual for a trait to have a downside. Time Decay is also incredibly powerful; just giving a no-cost additional move action that's stronger than your normal move on a maneuver would already be too good, but then it has a bunch of other benefits too! Overall, I think there's a lot of promise here and this could be a really fun kind of character to play, but it needs a mechanical overhaul to really capture the flavor of the ancestry and ift into the game's framework better.

The idea with hunger is that you see everyone as helpful or detrimental, and thus food. If their interest is <4, they are not quite helpful so you have to fight your urges to want to just consume them.

I hope it's just wierd enough.
