I am making an action/parkour game about a graple hook with many levels. i am at a good point in the development to relese a demo of this game. Do you guys think i should relese a demo or wait for the full development of the game to release it? I will provide some pictures.

will it be playable on browser?

yes: post it

no: don't

why? because then I can playtest it because I only play on browser

i will try to export it to html

Sadly i cant get the web version running becuase godot 4.6 doesnt support html export with projects that have c# in them

Releasing a demo makes sense when you're either looking for feedback or have something to show which would draw attention to your game. But there are no rules here, you can do whatever you want.

I posted the demo if you want you can check it out Graple (Demo) by YoYoYoWsg

Wsp and you should!

its alr out if you tryna play it Graple (Demo) by YoYoYoWsg

If you have something playable that will resemble the final project, definitely publish it. It's the only way for players to try it out and get some attention and feedback.

My advice: post it.

its out, thanks for the advice šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

I’d definitely post the demo, especially if it already shows the core mechanics and feel of the final game. Getting early feedback helps spot issues you might miss on your own, and it also builds a bit of hype around the project. Even a short playable slice can attract testers and motivate you to keep polishing things.

I posted the demo if you would like to try it but, it doesnt include very much content
